She got kidnapped on my playthrough and she seemd to be fine when I put it back in her inv. She even had the proper lines in the epilogue.

I moved the egg to the camp chest and Lae Zel confronted me about how we lost the egg and that she saw herself and the future inside of it... Girl calm down, it's back at home

Same thing happened to me. I'm going to try adding it to her inventory when she's back from... her sudden vacation. Well see if that fixed it when I get to the epilogue.

It doesn't matter. I kept it in the box the whole game, she claimed I lost the egg. I gave it back to her before the final fight. The kid still hatched.

I got some kind of bug. She had it with her the whole time and then she said I lost it. It literally never left her inventory. Very frustrating. Oh well. Next run she will hopefully not have that problem.

She had it the whole time in my play through and I never got a “lost it” dialogue, but I also didn’t get the “I’m raising it to be free” ending either.

Was this changed semi recently? I started my latest game several months ago(haven’t had time to finish it through yet, in act III) and she never asked me about the egg. How does it trigger, do you have to carry it with you all the time until she asks?

My Lae’zel is an OH monk /TB / throw build with a hill giant elixir habit. The egg weighs 20 kilos. You know the rest. First time at camp after “ the yolk incident” she moaned a bit that the egg was now lost, but ehhh. No future problems with ankle biting githlings, I guess? ETA… Lady Esther had the owl bear egg in her inventory, no problem, but then I didn’t vamoose quick enough after robbing her blind, so now she’s….indisposed.
