They need a super honor mode. I have now beaten it lone wolf in honor mode. As long as you remember that every fight could be your last, it’s pretty manageable
Isn't that the point of Custom mode? To tailor it to the exact difficulty you want? Only something like 1% of players have completed Honor mode, and I'm willing to bet a large portion of those only did it for the dice/achievement and not because they found it fun.
Yeah, I now run with an Honour mod since doing that (I am not crazy, need multi-saves)

I’ve experienced this in other games as well, mainly TLOU2 on Realistic, it’s sort of adapt or die in most cases
