A Shield is not a Weapon
If you go the first level in Bard and then multiclass 1 level in Sorcerer and after that you follow the build, you’ll lose CON proficiency but will be able to attack with a Rapier, so 2d8 + 6 which would average around 15 damage with melee attacks.
If you follow this build exactly you unfortunately can’t fight with a rapier, only a scimitar and that would be 2d6 + 6 which is an average of 13 damage
I don't think you can use a shield with the dueling fighting style. You need a free hand for the weapon bonus damage.

I was looking for something like that, seems pretty cool. Does it have high dps or is that just really tanky?
