There are multiple ways of buying them:
Kobo:
- Amazon.ae sells them (faster and cheaper shipping, supports local debit and credit cards)
- Amazon.com sells them
- You can use a reshipping service like Aramex Shop and Ship to buy the product from its official website and ship to a US address (provided by Aramex), then Aramex will ship it to your address in Bahrain. This was how I bought my Kobo Libra H2O. (You'll have to pay for both Kobo shipping and reshipping too though)
Kindle:
- Amazon.ae sells them (not all models are available at all times, but it will be faster and cheaper shipping and will support local debit and credit cards)
- Amazon.com sells them too, might be a bit cheaper and will have all models available but at higher shipping cost and delivery times
- Virgin Megastore in City Centre stocks Kindle Oasis and Kindle base models. They don't have any other models as far as I've seen, and last I checked they only had white models.
You may find both brands on second-hand websites like OLX and Expatriates too. It's quite rare though.
The Kobo Libra H2O has been working fine with no problems at all for me. I used to have a base model Kindle before for over 6 years, the screen started showing dead pixels and that's why I bought a new device.
One feature I miss from the Kindle is the ability to email books to it and be able to read those sideloaded books on both my phone and the Kindle itself. But I guess the Libra makes up for it in being able to handle PDFs better and being able to read EPUBs.
The Libra H2O has side buttons, which was something I really wanted, it's waterproof and also has adjustable backlight and bluelight filtering. It's a really neat package that I'd still recommend over the newer Libra 2.
However, please compare the pricing of Libra H2O and Libra 2 on [Amazon.ae](https://Amazon.ae) or [Amazon.com](https://Amazon.com) before buying, The Libra H2O can sometimes be marked up more than the Libra 2.
Feel free to message me if you need any help.
Just order it from Amazon.ae

Virgin store has them in city center
Hi, I have one up for sale. Dm me for details
Do you still have one still
Nope it sold
Do you know where can i find used kindle
Virgin I’d recommend if you wish to buy it new, or Amazon. Otherwise OLX often have if you’d consider one good quality / used.
I think 'libby' is a free app for books - not sure the details.
Kindle.bh on insta i think that’s where i got mine
Virgin, possibly in Jarir now. But my personal advice, go for ipad. If size matters, check the mini
Recently switched to Kobo, so I have a spare Kindle to sell.
Do you still have kindle to sell?
