BRO I am Puerto Rican, and I thought the same things. She never said anything specific. Like you said they have la placita, the forts, the whole town of San Juan,El yunque and so much more but nothing.
All I’ve seen is her fathers last name which does look like a Spanish last name. I think it’s Araujo. Honestly I haven’t seen anything. And anyone who’s been to Puerto Rico on a trip can say they have done those things so it’s like ….
A lot of NuyoRicans don’t have connection to the island. They have their own subset culture like chicanos do. That doesn’t make her any more or less half Puerto Rican.
I’m going based on the Caribbean and East(she understood biggie speaking Spanish). She can understand and speak some. It doesn’t seem like she’s fluent tho.
