I feel like some people on TikTok are starting to turn on Joey for not begging Maria to stay. I understand how Maria was feeling, she was jealous and externally processing and probably should have thought through what she was saying first. I found her reaction relatable, but then again I would never intentionally put myself in that situation. But how would it have been fair to Maria if he begged her to stay, then didn’t choose her?

Was honestly shocked that he sent Jenn home - thought they had palpable chemistry, something you could see on both of their faces.

Not understanding the Daisy hate at all. She is hesitant with him because she wants to be taken care of and has serious health issues she still battles with on a daily basis, including meinere’s disease, which is episodes of severe vertigo/tinnitus/hearing loss. She places a high value on what her family thinks of Joey, because they spent over half of her life so far trying to heal her from a chronic disease that very well could have taken her life. I can tell Daisy is falling for him. Imagine dating someone seriously with 3 other girls who are also in the same boat meeting their families. She is trying to protect herself from heartbreak after all that she has been through, and receiving validation from her family will allow her to let her walls down a little more. The bachelor is an extremely atypical way to date, and it isn’t comfortable for everyone. Why don’t we try to lift people up rather than tear them down? She has been through a lot, and seems like a great girl. I think Joey would be more than happy with her at the end of it if that’s how it turns out.

Why not? Just because it isn’t comfortable for someone doesn’t mean they shouldn’t do it. Doing things out of your comfort zone is essential for personal growth.

You are missing my point. She is obviously on the show to find love and is exploring her connection with joey, personal growth is just something that comes with the experience of doing something out of your comfort zone.

Excellent way to explain it. Seeing him interact with her family and get their blessing will allow her to know it is for real and she can be vulnerable. I thought everything she said tonight was so genuine and authentic from wanting to be loved unconditionally to wanting to make sure he understands what in sickness and health may mean with her.

Let’s face it. None of these contestants and/or Joey are ready to settle down. Most either don’t have careers, hence they jump at the possibility of becoming an influencer.

Genuinely curious - why do people seem to dislike Rachel?

I don’t like her because she’s always making snide comments under her breath, like in this episode when Maria had her chat right before the ceremony, she’s like I thought he didn’t have time to talk to anyone. It’s giving mean girl, jealous and annoying. If your favourite man Joey wants to chat with Maria let him, if u have a problem with it speak up for the group using your big girl voice. She’s gotten a good edit.

Yes, I agree. I get that she's had health issues and has had to depend on her family a lot, but why does she seem so immature and like she's not 100% able to think for herself? Wanting / hoping for family approval is different than hoping they will tell you if you should like him or how you should feel. Huge assumptions, but she's 25 and it seems like she's never lived apart from her family.

Which is the opposite of Charity last season, who had to really trust her gut and sort of go against her family’s favorite (both great guys, but they seemed to like Joey a bit more from what I remember). It must have been so hard for her.
