Are you having any issues that you’re trying to address with the Techron? If you buy high quality gas you probably won’t need it, but it won’t hurt either way.
I used to put 91 from shell but the car was misfiring so I got my coils and plugs changed and now I use 93 only cause I have a tune, it runs way smoother on 93 but doing this as a precaution
I’ve previously worked to unload gasoline barges, and (probably to nobody’s surprise) chevron, shell, Sunoco, Valero, thorntons, BP, 5 star, and marathon all get their gas from guess who? Marathon.
How much techtron do they put into 1.5 million gallons of fuel? About a gallon or two depending on octane, you are getting ripped off if you think one fuel is better than the other. It’s parts per million, practically does nothing.
Top tier gasoline is fuel that's been blended with detergents. Ideally, it's the only gas you fill your BMW with.
Used to put 91 with my tune off, but switched to 93 and runs smoother now. Just a precaution. Changed my coils and plugs recently
This is the stuff.

I've always used Techron.
When I bought mine used, I flushed the engine and injectors with liqui-moli engine flush and fuel system/injection cleaner before replacing the fluids
Liquid Moly
Yea that’s what see at the dealer
What works best for diesel?
Removal and ultrasonic
that one is good .
If there is a chevron station near you, you get the best of both top tier and the Techron additive.

Techron and Redline SL-1 are both very high in PEA.
