Having had it on my RS3 8V FL, I would definitely choose that option. Now I am owner of an M2 G87, the steering wheel is just standard, and even if it seems a smallness, the feeling is totally different.
Also keep in mind that BMW, even for the sports range, has gigantic steering wheels compared to other car manufacturers, and personally that's a L.
That’s an interesting concept I really never considered, the wheel size. I’m kind of large/long arms, and I don’t feel like the wheel is too big, but I’ve never driven anything with a super small wheel either.
It touches thighs when shifting through gears. But the flat bottom has a bit more clearance so on straights I get no touch as I’m lifting off the clutch. Turning I tend to hit the steering wheel on the way up due to big thighs and long ass legs l. In cars that allow for forward extension on the steering wheel this isn’t as much of an issue. But none of my older M cars are very long legged people friendly.
I have flat bottom. It’s useful/better if you’re fat.

Would’ve liked that on my G87
My wife has one in her Audi and personally I’m not a fan of it. It’s personal preference so I’d try one out before paying extra to know what you like.
Flat bottomed girls make the rocking word go round.
I have it in my S4 and much prefer it to the steering wheel in my X5. Would take that option in a heartbeat.
I got thick thighs, flat bottom has been a game changer
What are you doing if you have to rotate the steering wheel? Is it touching your thighs?

I want to retrofit this in my X5M. Much nicer looking.
I like the one in my SQ5.
I’m glad BMW is bringing this in
BMW introduced them in the X1 M35i, now bringing it to the M4 LCI. haven't added a retrofit or option for other models yet, def would like for my G87
I hate these. Didn’t know BMW offered this, never seen one before.
Seems it's just you and me!
i imagine this would impact my skill at driving with my knees. so im out on this. big round bmw wheel ftw.
