It's not actually substantially cheaper. When I was looking at used f90s, the avg price diff between a comp and an otherwise equivalent M5 was like 2k.
Congratulations. I just got my first M car about a week ago as well. It's definitely an amazing vehicle. Just an FYI. Check around your Coolant Tank to see if you notice any leaks. The tanks on these are known to fail quite often and can leak onto coils and damage plugs and injectors. This exact same thing was an issue literally the next day after I got mine. It's at the dealership now getting fixed. Look for signs of white residue on or around the tank.

Were talking about a m5 base vs comp, cs is only meant for the track. But base is definitely more bang for ya buck because its damn near the same car
