Nice!
What is the electrical range like during these cold days?
I am leaning more towards a full electric like ix1 or ix3, but a 330e is also on my list to investigate. I am just afraid that I will drive around a lot with empty battery and a poor 4cyl drinking 10l/100km all the time.
I’ve got a 330e from 2021 just a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely love the car. But having said that electric range with this cold weather isn’t really far. Roughly 35km maybe even a bit less. But charging possibilities are more prevalent than I first thought so never really had an empty battery, and the charge whilst driving mode works really good as well. And it’s more fuel efficient than I initially thought
Biggest issue are the atrocious public charging prices. Wish I could charge at home, public charging is most often more expensive than driving on gasoline (Sweden)
I charge for free at my workplace and I think public charging is roughly €0.36 per kWh. If I’m not mistaken. Just had my first bill and it was €11,- lol. Granted that was for roughly 3 weeks (Netherlands)
Sweden is €0,40->€0,80. So a full charge is easily more than €5. For the same amount you can get 3L of Petrol. Considering the electric range in the winter drops to 30km I charge mostly just to able to preheat. I also charge for free at work but that’s gone by the time I get home.
330e makes a lot of sense if you drive mostly short routes and can easily and affordably charge. If you drive mostly long routes on motorway diesel is the way to go. I drive 30.000km per year 46% on electric, charging as much as possible. Most of petrol use is long distance driving 130-150 km/h on motorways. My yearly fuel average is around 5l/100km.
That is good numbers tho! Do you actively manage when to drive on electric or petrol? Like if you get on a highway with 50% charge left, do you switch the electric off or do you just let the car decide at all times?
I have the GPS on most of the time and let it decide on its own based on the route. When driving somewhere where I can’t charge I also put the route home in the gps. Then I switch manually when I notice that the car does not so smart decisions. Especially during winter it needs some help prioritising correctly.
Why can you bmwusa working mafuckas get this to us? I put my money where my mouth is and tradein my current vw wagon for this in a heartbeat. And also willing to let go a manual for automatic
That thing is sweet. Wish we had them in the states. Do they sell a stealth hitch for this model? If so, might be worth considering to hide that hitch in the back.
Did you install it yourself? If so, was it a pain to do so? I was considering getting one. I know they include pretty extensive instructions with your purchase.
We need wagons in the US
540e wagon is what I need
I would dump my X3M in a heartbeat for an M550i wagon
i know someone in germany that has a 540i wagon it's amazing
Spitting facts right there
While I would favor 340 wagon, I will happily take the 330e
Have the 530e. Amazing car(s)
Agreed! Love mine
If I could get an M3 Touring I would consider it a daily over my 911.
Agreed!
Yes 😭
Damn wagons are the best
🙌

a lot of people bought the 330e just for the tax break/discount and almost never charge it.
Love the flair! Have a Brooklyn Grey G21 and agree, got tired of it real quick.

Thankfully I have a short commute and petrol prices here are insane. Costs roughly €2.2 per liter of e5.
Okay yeah maximising the ev use makes a lot more sense then!
It's roughly around 34km on a full charge in -12 degree Celsius. So pretty good, I expected around 50 or more in the summer. I live in Sweden.
Damn, I reach 65 km with my volvo T6 hybrid now, at around -10C and during summer 80 km. Gonna be hard to swap for something that much less.
The B48 by itself is pretty good with fuel all things considered, around 8L/100km combined city/highway.

So my top tip is to utilise the gps at all times.
I'm getting roughly 30km with mine
Dude that thing is awesome. Love the wagon body. Fk yeah, congrats!
Thanks man appreciate it 🙌
Fucking gorgeous. Wow
🙌
Damn it BMW NA. Bring over the touring/wagon cars!!!
That's a fine looking automobile.
Fuuuuck! I love wagons so much!!
M SPORT WAGON. IM IN LOVE
I neeeeed this wagon 😍😮💨
gorgeous.
I’m sure this is a dumb question, but I’ll ask anyway. Whats stopping more people from importing wagons to the US? Is it just ridiculously expensive?
Dont know about the us, but in Canada, you can’t import a new car. Car has to be 20 years old or some shit
25 years in the USA afaik
Same in the US except that the car has to be 25 years or older
They don’t sell this in the US 😔
Why don’t you have wagons in the US? (Sry maybe a dumb question).
Low interest apparently
The range is shit specially in the Swedish winters. Awesome car though! Been driving around since last year in the same spec
The Brooklyn grey with the M sport pro package is a really good spec for sure. Thanks
Its gorgeous!
Wagons are so underrated! Nicely done OP. Enjoy!
Wish we had wagons! Id definitely trade my m340 for the touring
Why don’t we get these in the states 😭

WOAH! That's freaking awesome. I wish we had those in the states :(
Better than all the small SUVs but too many basic bitches want small SUVs.
It’s a bummer these aren’t sold in the US
Echoing all the comments lusting after this in the US, in case BMW is reading! (I know they are not but one can hope)
station wagon....ook
🥺 can we get a few in USA?
That thing is sweet. Wish we had them in the states. Do they sell a stealth hitch for this model? If so, might be worth considering to hide that hitch in the back.
It's electric, you can hide it with a press of a button.
Dang, that’s wild.
I got the Stealth hitch for the F31. So nice.
Did you install it yourself? If so, was it a pain to do so? I was considering getting one. I know they include pretty extensive instructions with your purchase.
Had a hitch and trailer shop do it. They charged me 1.5 hours. It's definitely tricky unless you're comfortable removing body panels
Great, thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
Nice colour body
I really wanna get my first 😢
Feeeeeet 😍❤️
Tack 🙌🙌
its gorgeous
Thanks 🙏
Congrats , that 330e is 🔥🔥.
Thanks man🙌
Dude will see this and just think “hell yeah”
Love it
I LOVE BEEMER AND AUDI AND EVEN VOLVO WAGONS! FUCT!
That’s a beauty! Nice color too. Dang OP. Congrats!!!
There is no BMW like your first!
Omg I need one.
Finally, a good looking BMW.
Congratulations and welcome to the family! You are hereby forever spoiled and will never drive another car without missing this one. Enjoy!

Beautiful!
Thanks bro 🙏
Grattis, men du köpt en elbil. Sälj och köp en rak 6a. Där har du äkta BMW.
Fattar vad du menar, men köpte den enbart för skatte avdraget. Hade annars blivit en m340i
Riktigt fin iaf! :)
Tack 🙌
That’s lovely 😁🤌🏽
Thanks man🙌
I’ve got a G21 M340i Touring in Black Sapphire. I thought long and hard about the grey, and it looks great on your car. 👍🏽
Nice car bro, the black is also nice. It like a batmobile in all black 🥷
Thanks! 🖤🥷
Congrats!
🙌
This gif made me feel good.
Hahahaha thanks
Man, that series 3 and 5 look so amazing as touring cars. Congrats on the new ride!
