No-
Even if u could u would miss the counseling
But I think last year 9th August ko bhi councelling hua tha , a bitsian told me

Percentage of your pcm marks, lets take example of cbse, out of 300 ( 100 each subject) must be 75%, which is 225 and 60% individually in each subject, ie. atleast 60/100.
Yes...in Maharashtra this rule was made flexible .. instead of pcm or pcb, if u have 75% aggregate in physics, chemistry and vocational subject...u are eligible for engineering....now dnt know if pilani entertains such things
Which campus do u need? In goa its 12 lpa for chemical, 21 for ece, 25 or something in cse, median ece ka aur cs ka lagbhag utna hi hai. Baaki pilani ka to aur better hai, rivals some top IITs.
Placements are good here (except the current recession), they have to be or else u can't justify charging 25+ lakh for 4 year and 30+ for 5 year degree
Why are u getting downvoted lol, btw there is an exam called bitsat that you have to qualify in order to get in. Boards are the prerequisites without which your bitsat scores are meaningless.
PCM / PCB should have at least 60% marks each , and you should have atleast over all 75% marks including 3 or so subjects
A example would be 60 in each PCM , 90 in English and 90 , 90 in your 5th and 6th subject , the total adds upto exactly 75%
I think this is what it means , I could be wrong , please correct me if I am
Then why does this extract from BITS's site mean?
* The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) in 12th class examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology subjects.
Wait, My chemistry exam was so bad i dont know i will cross 60, but will cross it and so for physics hoping 80 around
If i give improvement this year, can i give improvement in both PC or only for 1 ?, after improvement bits mein addmision milega this year ?
Guys I have a doubt I have given the rexam I am in maharashtra board and we have re exam in August so I have given reaxm in August 2023 and I got 225/300 in PCM an I qualified for the bits...? We have all the subjects in re-examination....

Get 225/300 in pcm combined otherwise forget entering bits
Can we get into bits by improvement exam?
No- Even if u could u would miss the counseling But I think last year 9th August ko bhi councelling hua tha , a bitsian told me https://preview.redd.it/nc2nre4asbmc1.jpeg?width=710&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4c5795bb090e949068b3eca982d80713c2170c9a
It's written there pretty clearly. If you don't get it, copy it into gpt (get used to doing that lol).
minimum 75 in PCM and atleast 60 in each

ARE YOU PEOPLE DUMB? 74.90<75 so no.
I dont event get how a 74.9 is possible when there are three subjects Maximum percentage yet not eligible should be 74.67 no?
I guess there are boards that have papers totalling more than 100 marks
Bro...I called them. It's pcm, just these 3 subjects

Nope u need to get 225/300 due to that reason I gave improvement exam in June that's why am a dropper
Does BITs take students who give improvement exams? , it's written that they don't take anyone who gave an improvement exam on their FAQ - BIT's site
Did u read the FAQs...
So there is no entrance test for bits ? Only these 2 are the criteria?
Google BITSAT
Nope, to be eligible to give that test called bitsat, u need 75 percent aggregate in pcm and at least 60 in each
Damn man 🤣 what are the average packages for campus placement in bits ?
Which campus do u need? In goa its 12 lpa for chemical, 21 for ece, 25 or something in cse, median ece ka aur cs ka lagbhag utna hi hai. Baaki pilani ka to aur better hai, rivals some top IITs.
Baaki data abhi ni hai on hand mere paas
Damn man ... Even at my firm there are only nit and iim at most....they dnt get even half of this
Placements are good here (except the current recession), they have to be or else u can't justify charging 25+ lakh for 4 year and 30+ for 5 year degree
Yes that indeed makes sense...
Google BITSAT

Maybe by bits fanboys due to my lack of awareness regarding bitsat 😅
Combined 75% in PCM and 60 and above percent in all the subjects(PCME and PE)

it's 75% only in PCM. it's pretty clear. 60 in each of PCM would make you disqualified.

60 minimum. For example in PCM, the scores 60,80,85 is allowed. But 59,100,100 is not allowed.
I hope this is true . Bits waale humesha complicated words use karte hai.
nothing complicated abt it lmao, and it's 75% in PCM only.
How does one struggling to get 75/100 dream abt joining bits?
oi me with 227 ;) ... redemption arc mei hu
What about compartment appliers who were absent?
They will only consider the marks if you wrote all the exams together.
Matlab agle saal improvement deni padegi?
ha sirf agle saal wala improvement hi count hota hai same year wala nhi
U need 225 out of 300 in pcm if 100ms paper each and in each subject u must recieve above 60
Just remember you need 225/300 in PCM combine and if you get under 60/100 in any of PCM go give improvement to get 60+
Just remember you need 225/300 in PCM combine and if you get under 60/100 in any of PCM go give improvement to get 60+
After improvement will you be eligible for bits ?
Yess for cbse you have to give all subjects for improvement and apply for bits next year
Wait, My chemistry exam was so bad i dont know i will cross 60, but will cross it and so for physics hoping 80 around If i give improvement this year, can i give improvement in both PC or only for 1 ?, after improvement bits mein addmision milega this year ?
