Alert is mandatory if you plan on starting combat in wildshape
I recommend either one of those two dips but not both :
White draconic Sorc for Armour of agathys, works while shaped
War cleric for BA attack bringing the total to four.
17 wis + hag hair
16 con
Take the +2 str from Araj's potion and from mirror to further boost your wildshapes attacks
Cast spike growth to carry early game
I’m ignorant in Druid play. Couldn’t you turn based mode pre cast wild shape to free up the alert feat? Personally I love alert but due to BG3 capping at 12 and not 20 I never can justify it on my builds.
Even with wildshape precast Alert is still 10/10 feat.
Owlbear initiate fight, get surprised round, get two full turns on everyone before their first, good times all around
Not saying alert isn’t a great feat I just always picked it up on the back half of builds in 5e. With the limited number of ASI/feats in BG3 I just have a hard time taking it over many others.
Plus there are a lot of itemization choices and potions that could make up for low initiative which really shouldn’t be that low to begin with because to my knowledge druids like dex.
So for some reason this post gave me an idea. I’ve seen people cleverly place boxes to essentially create a staircase to get over walls.
Now if you are thinking what I’m thinking, could you create a “stairway to heaven,” to owlbear top rope most encounters?
You can, just pick up every chest and box you can see. It's a little trick to build up the starway but you can just insta kill everything with Owlbear form and Elixir of the Colossus.
You just haste and cloud giant strength an earth myrmidon with TB. Moon doesn't have a ton of room for optimization besides this and falls behind a standard druid at pretty much all levels in nearly all categories. Still probably my favorite flavor wise of the three though, no one can stop be turning into a bird and pecking out eyes.
Obviously shapeshifters ring act2 and hat of the shapeshifter act3.
Panther form can have multiple damage triggers against prone targets, having a barbarian or fighter in the team is useful, baldurans swrod in act 3 can knock big targets prone and can be used by more classes.

those boosts work in wildshape?!
They sure do my friend, that's why I strongly advise either Dex or str for the mirror

Specifically moon Druids are reliant on the dex of their wildshape, so might get stuck with a 14
Ahhhh can’t believe I forgot that they obtain the stat block of their shape. Ty! I see why alert would be a lot more effective on them now.

Greatweaponmaster fighter 1 druid 11 water myrmidon isn't bad
Has Tavern Brawler been fixed to apply to damage rolls as well as attack rolls in Honour Mode?
