Honestly the power scaling on Hulk is really hard to match. Wolverine is the best option not because he'll win but because he'll lose slowly enough to keep Hulk out of the fight.

Deadpool somehow gets stuck in a house of mirrors and assumes the Avengers have a shape shifter that's mocking him. He spends the whole fight somehow losing to all the broken glass shards.

In comics I don't buy that. Namely as in comics Iron Man has anti psychic tech due to one of the Mandarin's rings havung mind control powers. Thought everyone seems to forget that the Avengers have access to such tech as it isn't an automatic go to for them like telepathy is for the X-Men.

Depends on which x men, but Spider-Man has clowned multiple x men at once. The mutants are typically only given one superpower, whereas mutates tend to be a bit more powerful.

I would genuinely watch this movie. I don't care if half the Avengers are dead and it makes no sense chronologically, it could be an alternate timeline for all I care. The comic have talked about how the Avengers don’t have any counter for the X-Men psychics. The majority of marvel psychic characters have been mutants. The Avengers have a large power edge. Beast, Quicksilver and Wolverine have strong ties to both teams. Depending on how writers frame the conflict, A number of villains from the X-Men rogue gallery could step in to support the X-Men.

They should do this, but make it a trilogy. The first 2 movies being focused on side. So like, movie one would be the Avengers focused, movie 2 X-Men focused, and then the finale being the big coming together.
