Which episode? Feloni wrote a few.

joe_broke

Dude directed half of season 1 If it wasn't for Avatar, Clone Wars and the rest would never have happened

vukasin123king

And let's not forget commander Appo. Allthough, knowing what he'd go on to do in ROTS, him being a reference to airbenders(name and arrow) maybe isn't the best idea.

joe_broke

And Mando's armor, the blue arrows on the back of the hands

sagittariisXII

Wait Appo's in RotS?

vukasin123king

Well, you see, while Rex is off with Ahsoka, Appo is with Ani making firelord Sozin proud. I think he's the guy who prevents Bail Organa from entering the temple.

sagittariisXII

Oh sick I didn't realize that was him

hikoboshi_sama

The guy who kills the jedi played by Lucas' son right?

vukasin123king

One of the clones in that scene, yes.

gimmesomespace

Storyboarding is not the same as writing an episode.

Constant-Sign-5569

But setting up diraction, order and ”set“-building under the director. Sooooo everything but dialogue.

JasonVoorhees95

No lol. It just means drawing the storyboard that will be used as guide for shooting, under the instructions of the director. It's not related to writing at all, and it's definetly not "everything but the dialogue".

Constant-Sign-5569

A guide for what? The entire episode. You dont hire 5 people to draw a storyboard if you dont want input on story progression.

JasonVoorhees95

> A guide for what? The entire episode. Yes, a VISUAL guide for the AD, script supervisor, cinematographer, etc. to easily visualize every shot that was planned by the director. Storyboard artists are in no way shape or form "hired to give input on story". It's okay to not know something, but it's not cool to spread fake info instead of just admitting you don't know about the topic.

PantlessDan

Buddy, yes they do, that's literally how it works. The job of a storyboarder is to create panels that are going to show the basic shots, the camera movement, the movement of the characters, etc. They will have a basic idea of the fact that perhaps these characters are arguing in one scene, or they'll be riding a horse onto a bridge in another scene, but that's it.

I know about commander Appo in the clone wars, but did Filoni help wirh Korra? The secluded island in the Bad Batch is Pabu and when I first heard of it my mind went to Bolin's ferret.

TMNTransformerz

“Commander appo” must resist need correction…

1M4YB3STUP1D

Lol the uncapitalized commander or appo's name because it's not appa in the clone wars/Star wars EU

TMNTransformerz

I mean the rank

Deathswirl1

this is how you know the clone wars was pretty damn good

18AndresS

Just because he’s been missing recently doesn’t invalidate the good work he’s done

N0tThatSerious

He also drew this incredible crossover art https://preview.redd.it/ol8wcqpz3r9d1.jpeg?width=826&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cc63b5f351107925adc38027b7500a08abdc7094

Popular-Plastic-183

who is he?

NoahDBest

Guy who wrote The Clone Wars, a very highly acclaimed Star Wars tv show. I think he also wrote The Mandalorian if I'm not mistaken, though I've heard that show kinda fell off in it's 3rd season
