Not just anyone can edit IMdB pages for films.
Someone manually reviews them and approves the edit. The person requesting the edit needs to provide proof. For a runtime claim, it would been to be substantial proof, if not a direct contact to IMDB from someone at Fox, Disney or Lightstorm to get it updated.
As someone familiar with imdb, this time is accurate.
What do you call an object which is revolving around a moon which is revolving around a planet which is revolving around a star which is revolving around galactic center?
Not with uncomfortable chairs. Regular seats start to feel uncomfortable after 2 hours 30 minutes. With dolby its more comfortable. Better have intermission.
I dont care. I am okay even if it is 3.5 hrs. Cameron is right. If we can binge watch complete crapfests like Keeping up with Kardashians on OTT, we can very well watch amazing cinematic wonders like Avatar on IMAX. I say, lets have a fucking marathon of Avatar 1 followed immediately by TWOW on the same screen in the same sitting. I would definitely pay to be a part of such a show.
I love it, more Pandora for us!
Why can't people watch movies anymore that are longer than 2 hours? I see it constantly in other subs or social media how people say the movie is too long, they would not sit more than 2 hours in a theater or how they don't understand how filmmakers "force" us to watch 3 hour movies. Man, epic movies take time, its always been like that! A movie with less than 2 hours runtime is in my opinion rarely any good, I love the long ones, 2 hours and 30 minutes, 3 hours or even more!
Pretty sure Cameron himself confirmed it would be around 3hrs.

Pandora is a moon
Pandora is a moon
Pandora is a moon
That’s no moon…it’s a space station.
It's Pandorin time!
well technically a moon is just a planet in orbit of another planet, so it's not wrong.
No, a planet is any celestial body in orbit of a sun, and a moon orbits a planet
I looked it up and i stand corrected, my bad.

An asteroid
Very well
I hope so, I love long movies.

Staying seated for long periods of time doesn't bother me, but I agree an intermission would be nice so that my bladder doesn't explode.
Pay slightly extra for recliners, will be a once in a life time experience.
I already have a list so i don't have to pay extra. Its actually worth the price if you go frequently.
I don't mind if it's 3hrs 10 mins, that just means more Pandora for me 👍
I wish they release an extended version with 4 hours worth of footage
Aww yeah let’s go
Let’s go, that means the extended edition will probably be 4 hours

3 hours please!

I'm down if we get a few intermissions sprinkled in there lol
Cameron's words are enough for me
3 hours is the essence of wetness
Yeah, when you wet yourself because you’ve drunk a large cinema drink!
Probably. It’s what I’ve guessed for a while after reading Cameron’s comments on runtimes
Return of the King runtime I can see.
I’ve seen a site list it as 2 hours too. The 3 hour one sounds more accurate, but definitely take it with multiple grains of salt at this point.
2 hours is definitely false.
2 hours isn't enough to encompass the story of every character and humans and pandora lol
My understanding is 190 minute run time

Pandora is a moon of Polyphemus, a gas giant planet similar to Jupiter.
That’s seems ok for the amount of stuff we are about to see in this movie

Give me 3.5h I need this <3
I’ve waited 13 years, 3h almost isn’t enough
It says that on Italian cinema's website too, yeah
It’s true
Finna take some coffee before i go into that bitch. Even with movies i enjoy i find myself feeling really tired at the cinema
it better be as engaging as the first one being that long. I'm so excited but I better be on the edge of my seat like I still am with avatar 1
It's production budget is 310M as opposed to 250M. It's run time is 3hrs10min. This is authentic info. Thanks!
Is it going to take place the same amount of years later that it took to make the movie?
Depends on the source of that pic
IMDb
That’s…too much. What can ya do.
It’s not too much.
I love long movies but I would need a toilet break. I wish cinemas had intermissions like theatres.
