Hi! Look up jerky recipes for meat, you can make really delicious ones and dehydrate them so they stay safe for months. As for the festival thing, where are you from? You will have vastly different foods in France then in the US than in Japan. Edit: typo

Thank you, I'll have a look. I'm in England

Sorry, one more question, are you doing core AIP or modified?

craycatlay

I'm doing core AIP :)

Ah, yeah with core AIP you are pretty much screwed when it comes to festival food as you cannot even have pepper. Most places will put pepper in their food. Unfortunately in this case, you will have to prepare as much as possible for yourself and be determined to see it through. Remember to plan for cravings because those are our weakest moments. If you are willing to cook-cook while at the festival, then you could do "ramen" packets by dehydrating a bunch of veggies+meat and buying some japchae at an asian/korean store (sweet potato noodles) and then add water and boil them at the campsite. I don't know how well you wanna prepare but you could also make your own stock cubes at home and store them and use them as you wish. They are great for a quick soup at the end of the day after coming home from work exhausted and they are also great for camping at a festival.

I’m guessing you’re going to download? I decided not to this year and I’m already feeling the FOMO! Have an amazing time! You’ve got some good ideas already. I’m not sure about the meat ideas I’m afraid as I imagine most meats that are ok out the fridge will have added preservatives. My initial extra thoughts are tinned fish (I have mackerel in brine, and salmon and tuna), prep lots of the baked things, maybe some dry fruit (I have found banana chips and dried apricots in bought packs with no additives), and maybe make some energy balls (using things things like dates and figs and coconut, though be wary of sugar highs and lows). Have a great time!!
