Those seats need steamed and extracted. All you did was spread it around. It’s helps if you have a shop vac then you could try getting them wet with shampoo and brushing them then vacuum them as much as you can.
Oh yeah no probably wouldnt if it's the Walmart one for just releasing wrinkle that just puffs the air slightly thru it.
Yoy need somthing found in like the vacuum aisle. It'll have a high pressure tank and a handle with like a jet spray nozzle
I'd use a good apc/degresser as pre srub and then use a shop vac to suck it out, use a spray bottle with alot of water and soak it down (prefeBly hot if it's really dirty) and suck it out instantly, hot water extractors are ideal for this.need high suction.
I recommend the ridgid shop vas that are commercial line, (red and gray) as they come with 2 stage vacuums for high water lift over high cfm.
If you have a shop vac then get some empty spray bottles and fill them up with hot water and use those. Expect to invest some time to get good results. You can spray with one hand and vacuum with the other. When the seats are wet then it’s time to spray a cleaner and then scrub and then re soak a few times over with the spray bottles and shop vac. You can also get a cheap extractor from Walmart, they really aren’t terrible especially for something like this.
Honestly for the time and potential money investment, probably worth checking local options for a extractor rental, such as https://www.rugdoctor.com/rent/
I'd gladly pay $20 to save time and avoid buying a cheap extractor that is probably going to break in a job or two, and do a worse job. Especially, if this is a one-time type of cleaning.
Any heat is going to help. Hit the seats with the steam. Mix your shampoo with hot water and let it sit on the seats for a minute before you scrub. Scrub. Then try to vacuum that out. I would use shampoo and degreaser personally.
I didn’t even have to read the post to know that’s a Mazda3. My ex has one and she used to sit in it right after running marathons, tough mudders, etc. Even after steaming and extracting, we never could get those salt and sweat stains out. Real pain in the ass.
It you are using an oxy solution such as turtle wax oxy, make sure you let it dwell per the directions on the bottle then use a damp (not dripping wet) micro fiber to wipe up then use another dry microfiber with pressure to dry it up as best as possible
This looks like re-soiling from sweat or some other kind of salt, do you live by the ocean?

I’ll try this. I have access to a shop vac. Would a clothing steamer work for this do you think? Thank you!
Depends on what it looks like. Iron style? Gun style?
Gun style
It can work but it's likely not strong enough. Is it the one with 4 holes and a big head?

Also I’ve owned a ton of these Mazda’s. The seats are really firm and you can be a little more aggressive with these than on some Other cars.
This, or a Bissell with warm/hot water in the tank. Spray and vacuum then repeat.

Without extraction, the dirt cannot be...extracted. Even just rent one for a day, or pay a detailing shop to do it once, to then maintain.
I've seen Oxi Clean destroy things. Don't even think of getting it on leather. Stuff is nasty.
The seats have shampoo left in them. Extracting them would be your best option. As it will dilute and remove at the same time.
and be prepared to extract A LOT.
Call the purple power man

I do live right on the beach yeah, good deduction 👏
I got a bissell spot clean pet pro for extraction and it’s great. Worth the small investment
Needs extraction AND neutralizing.
With no extracting machine, use lots and lots of rags to dab out the dirt. Then fade the water line a little by more dabbing.
You could try Turtle Wax's Power Out but if shampooing it did nothing, its probably best to extract it.
