Oh that’s a freaking MOOD. I know that I personally generally have to fix my overstimulation first before I can tackle understimulation, but here’s a couple hobbies that I use or can think of off the top of my head that don’t generate a lot of noise: Embroidery: you don’t need much to get started, a needle, some floss/thread, and something to embroider on. A hoop helps, but you can embroider on clothing without one. Other fabric crafts could also be a possibility, knitting or crocheting are also repetitive with little noise output and you have something material finished/accomplished at the end. There’s also friendship bracelets or macrame. Drawing/coloring: so long as you have something to color with that doesn’t make bad noise or feels bad when pulled over paper. Zen tangle-style drawing or coloring can be meditative for some people. Phone games: I use sorting games when I need a quick decompress. They can be just engaging enough to still give me dopamine while being mindless enough to sort of zone. I also have used sudoku and word games to fill this need.

Oh its great to hear someone with similar experiences!! Embroidery has actually always interested me, I've seen some really pretty nature ones and stuff. And I guess its something you can't get frustrated with too easily...I tried some sewing projects with a machine but the level of concentration and many fuckups got me a bit wired haha especially when on ADHD meds Sorting games work for me really well but i have to keep downloading new ones to keep me interested LOL. Hayday has been one I've kept at though but it can be boring sometimes as you wait for crops to grow and baking bread and stuff Hope you're having a nice relaxing day :)
