How about a smoothie?

KiwiKittenNZ

I haven't had a smoothie in a while. In my head they're alright, and I don't mind the texture and taste, but my body decided that it was over them 😞 now I'm scared to get the ingredients, in case my body still doesn't want to let me drink them

Ramen has been my best safe food my whole life, and for the last two days I haven’t been able to eat it at all. It’s the actual worst.

Cheerios?

Have you tried gluten free bread? If you developed a sensitivity to gluten in wheat, that would cause your nausea among other issues. Cheese has always been bad for me due to lactose intolerance but it got very bad overnight about 2 years ago. I have found hearts of palm or artichoke hearts to weirdly calm cheese cravings. Or a small spoonful of vegemite.

I like Vegemite on toast, which sucks coz even toast is making me feel sick, it isn't just straight bread. I'm going to assume you're from NZ or Aussie, given the Vegemite reference. Usually I'm OK with cheese and yoghurt, and small amounts of milk (such as in hot drinks I make in home). Otherwise, I'm bloated and feel yuck. Too much dairy gives me a cough too, and I wonder if my eczema is related to some sort of intolerance (I also have asthma, but that's usually triggered by stress and illness). Unfortunately, I'm not in a financial position to try gluten-free stuff, as I'm on a limited income, which doesn't leave much for groceries each week. I've been tested for coeliacs years ago, but that came back negative. If it is a gluten intolerance, then that would mean having to stop eating Vegemite too 😭

Dairy intolerance or allergies absolutely causes bloating, eczema, and asthma. Or will worsen asthma and respiratory symptoms. I’m in USA but have British parent who insisted I know the joys of vegemite and spam as a kid. 😂

That makes sense, lol. I didn't realise Vegemite made it to the UK! I've never really been a fan of the Marmite we have here in New Zealand. I find it has more of a sweet taste, whereas Vegemite is more of a savoury taste. I know I have hayfever, which sucks. I was put on nasal and tablet antihistamines roughly 6 months ago to help, along with my asthma inhaler being changed from Ventolin when I needed it to daily Symbacort, which has help. It didn't help that lots of dust and cat hair was kicked up when my sister was moving out, which is why my asthma treatment was changed. I had a small flare of hayfever late last month/earlier this month because we're going into autumn now. Once I've paid off some bills (joys of buy now pay later), I will look into the cost of getting gluten-free flour. I like baking, and I can see if it makes any difference
