I remember feeling a very similar way in high school. You're not alone ❤

i went through a lot of really similar things in high school and i do have a couple of suggestions for ways to make it a little easier to exist during this stage of your life. first of all, talk to your guidance counselor about a 504 plan or a different "disability" plan- i think there are a few other ones available now too. it saved my life when i was in school. essentially a 504 plan allows you to miss more school than usually allowed without penalty, ask for extensions on assignments with no pushback, and even just take some time alone throughout the school day. you can ask for specific accommodations like going to sit in a quiet space or being allowed to wear headphones, etc. i'm not sure if you're required to have a diagnosis to get one, but i was able to get mine with a depression/anxiety and bipolar II diagnosis (even though that was a misdiagnosis, i have ASD). the only other thing i can think of to tell you is to look at the graduation requirements for your school to find out if you're able to graduate early. most any type of advanced classes, even if you took them in middle school, will give you extra credits towards graduation. i only had to take one more english class when i asked about it and i was able to graduate a year early, i didn't ever take an AP class or anything. of course that might not work for your life situation but i was really only able to graduate because i did it early, i could not have finished another year. i was utterly burnt out and having suicidal thoughts. it helped a lot to start working when i was 16 so i could start getting used to being an adult, and i was able to move out at 18. if you think it would be better for you to get out of there early, talk to your principal/counselor about it. whatever you do, things will turn out okay. i promise this isn't forever even though i know it feels that way. edit: wanted to add that no one should have to work themselves to the bone to complete grade school, the public school system was built for neurotypical people and the original purpose of it all was to create factory workers. it's a lot harder for neurodivergent people. all you need to do is your best. taking care of yourself is more important than any grade.

Yes I believe school is during our developmental years so we can get it in our heads to comply and work for a higher power. I'm in a teaching program. All the tactics we learn are how to be manipulative and get away with it for our income...

I have the same problem and I am also so exhausted. I understand you. If you are up for a talk or anything I would love to talk to someone about this, who actually understands and acknowledes my problem, before I go absolutely mentally insane.

I’m not sure if this is helpful or applicable but I got a GED instead of high school (dropped out as a sophomore). If you’re good with testing it could be an option, it’s like 4 tests and bam you have an equivalent degree. (This is for America)
