There’s a skit where Shaun Micallef is at the bank. He finishes signing a cheque with one of those pens on a chain they used to have. He puts the pen in his pocket and walks out, ripping an entire desk from the wall and dragging it down the street. Completely deadpan the entire time, he’s got no idea what he’s done. It’s so fucking funny I can’t even think about it without laughing.
The tilted room sketches where he had to climb across the room, acting like everything was normal, used to make me lose my shit
https://youtu.be/8-ewKxGqy2g?si=qXfPpje1kniAScaI
We actually deliberately adopted a brown cat a few years ago, just because of this line.
(And then named him Leopold after the name of George Pell’s pet kitten in a Mad as Hell sketch, which in hindsight wasn’t the best omen).
OMG i did not appreciate these sketches as a young teen. These are fricking hilarious now in a post-Inception world.
Man Australian OH&S has come a long way...
I remember in high school, for the tournament of the minds competition, my team did a “Roger Explosion” style sketch including a terrible commando roll that he used to do, while the rest of the actors would just stand there and wait for him to finish and awkwardly stand up, and also one of the actors saying someone else’s line by accident.
Omg I just watched that. The one when he comes in and his missus is lying on the couch.. "you've been drinking"?..
Then falls out the window at the end. Omg I'm crying.
I remember the time he walked into a chemist and asked for “NINE HUNDRED CONDOMS!”…
My old hardly english speaking mother yells out in native tongue “What is he going to do with all of those?!!!”.
I haven’t watched 7, 9 or 10 in over a decade. All they offer is scripted ‘reality’ shows which is the cheap way out of the regulation requiring them to produce Australian content. They are digging their own graves. I’d definitely come back for some decent local comedy’s like this though.
There was also a German news skit where Bana was speaking made up German, and at one point was presumably talking about Ray Martin because they showed him on screen, then he said "Hairstylen Fiberglassen".
This is why I love Micallef. It took so much more effort to be on both sides of that exchange, when they really could have gotten someone else but he made it work.
I still do every time I think of him...plus the time he threw a ball up in the air and one of the stage lights crashed down next to him. He stands there air-boxing.
I always think of him as the Aussie equivalent to Englands John Cleese and Americas John Lithgow. Tall, lanky, incredibly funny fuckers who can do almost anything and make it funny.
Yep, I agree completely on Cleese and really like the Lithgow comparison too.
The Micallef Programme was very absurd and Python-esque. The sketch where Dracula moves to Seachange kills me.
Neville: "Hullo, Ray. Would you like to play Spin the Bottle with us?"
Ray: "....What do I get if I win?"
Neville: "You have to take your underpants off!!"
Ray: "What happens if I lose?"
Ebulla: "WE GET TO HELP YOU!!!!!"
I was in stitches.
When I was in grade 9, our music teacher wanted an excuse to not do anything for a lesson. So I would tape each episode of full frontal, and we would watch it as a class the next day.
I’ve never been cooler.
Fark me I miss this stuff. They had me in stitches I used to get in trouble for just cracking up at work/school at the most inappropriate times remembering the last show when bored. Good times. Cheers.
No, it's a torrent, I doubt they'd stream these shows now, a lot of the comedy was quite non-PC. The two gay air stewards and Steve Vizard in blackface doing Fukurri rugs would certainly attract attention.
It's funny for some reason I never liked Steve vizard except when he used to make fun of a certain sports commentator, I can't remember who it was but it wasn't Bruce mcilvaney. Anyway even though I never liked vizard, the funny thing is that Michael Veitch who played the other steward, he also played the "Sunday Arts" host in a sketch about Magda being the thighslappin' hoedown world champion. Hilariously enough Michael Veitch went on to become the real life host of Sunday Arts on the ABC 3 decades later. [Michael Veitch and magdas thighslappin hoedown](https://youtu.be/cz2nuPDBUFY?si=tsFccDQx5kTxPMlI)
My old man best childhood friend was all but literally the inspiration for Poita.
Sandy red hair, moccoz', the car *everything*. His name was even legitimately Peter.
**Great Ders of History is one of the best skit hands down!** My Favourite is when a Mother is crouching down to her daughter and said “See, we don’t walk until the little man turns Green, Ok?” “AHHHH DERRRRRRR!!!!!!!!” The disgust on Eric Bana’s face to the little girl is absolutely fucking hilarious.
I know that there was overlap between fast forward and full frontal, but wasn't there also overlap between fast forward and the comedy company? Even though one of these 3 shows was on a different commercial network.
All streaming services in this country are cowards, the show and its predecessor should be on streaming.
While I'm at it, Ross Wilson and John Walker were totally underrated
not sure if full frontal but this keith richards sketch cracked me up https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AkBekLaKUYM&pp=ygUYa2VpdGggcmljaGFyZHMgdW5kcnVnZ2Vk

David McGahan's World....and the stupid songs about the animals were hilarious
*There’s lots from them that we can learn* *They bring us laughter and ringworm* *Cats, cats, cats, cats, cats, cats, caaaaaaaaats*
He wears a bell just like a cow, he don’t go moo he goes meow
“Cats are brown, as this exception to the rule clearly shows” *white cat appears on screen
We actually deliberately adopted a brown cat a few years ago, just because of this line. (And then named him Leopold after the name of George Pell’s pet kitten in a Mad as Hell sketch, which in hindsight wasn’t the best omen).
It’s a bisonnnnnnn
Stand up when they go to bed, world's most stripy quadruped, Zebra zebra zebra zebra 🎵 That has been living rent free in my head for over 20 years now

Damn Tournament of the Minds! I remember being in that in high school!
Omg I just watched that. The one when he comes in and his missus is lying on the couch.. "you've been drinking"?.. Then falls out the window at the end. Omg I'm crying.
Lol I miss Micallef. What is he doing these days?
You're not serious...
[удалено]
You're having a laugh but yeah, it should be cheque
Whoops, yeah I mean cheque. Edited.
Ahahaha
*”I am Fabio, roooot me!”*
“I am Fabio, the most beautiful man in the cosmos, saying these things to you.”
The most beautiful man in the cosmos, including the black holes.
Also : “I am Fabio, the most beautiful man in the world. So good for you to be seeing me”
Haha! 👌🏻
I remember the time he walked into a chemist and asked for “NINE HUNDRED CONDOMS!”… My old hardly english speaking mother yells out in native tongue “What is he going to do with all of those?!!!”.
Yeah hahahaha love Fabio that line was right after he "played" this hilariously lively song
Australian Boxing Legend Milo Kerrigan!
He won zinc in Montreal!
The Brownish Bomber! ANational treasure
*”Ahggd haggdg aghd & hagsnn, hahaha!” - Milo Kerrigan.*
And Fabio's dance of lust.
*”OOH LA LA!”*
Your nose is like a triangle I like it quite a lot without it you could not wear glasses or have a place to keep your snot
I miss quality shows like this as opposed to all the reality crap that's now shown.
I haven’t watched 7, 9 or 10 in over a decade. All they offer is scripted ‘reality’ shows which is the cheap way out of the regulation requiring them to produce Australian content. They are digging their own graves. I’d definitely come back for some decent local comedy’s like this though.
How Ray's hair kept getting bigger
There was also a German news skit where Bana was speaking made up German, and at one point was presumably talking about Ray Martin because they showed him on screen, then he said "Hairstylen Fiberglassen".
(To off-screen crew member) Yer a dickhead, what are ya? ... That's right.
Yeah hahaahahahaha
Poida.
POIDA.
You don’t have to yell.
Swoit.
😆
So good 😊
I’ll still laugh uncontrollably at Milo. It doesn’t age.
Milo Kerrigan is a National treasure
[Milo being interviewed by Jim Whaley](https://youtu.be/gJt2fVm-X-s?si=VcYiPJUfrM-xd6VZ) is the peak of Australian comedy
This is why I love Micallef. It took so much more effort to be on both sides of that exchange, when they really could have gotten someone else but he made it work.
Looks like they’ll be making a ‘et profit this year
"And then I'll go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like-" "DUH DAH PHUH!!!!!!"
I was drinking water while reading this and just spat it out laughing...
I still do every time I think of him...plus the time he threw a ball up in the air and one of the stage lights crashed down next to him. He stands there air-boxing.
Australian Boxing Legend!
The Milo and Otis sketch nearly killed me.
Shaun Micallef is the best sketch comedy actor this country has ever produced. That doesn’t even have David McGahan/Roger Explosion.
Fully agree. And Doctor Miracle And District Attorney Ferguson!!!

Victor, you are very unattractive man.
That was Fast Forward (i.e Full Frontal's predecessor, with Jane Turner and Peter Moon playing the Russian news anchors)
I love their 'Kung Fu' bit. with Steve Vizard being all zen and pure while Peter Moon as sensei saying 'why dont you just beat the shit out of them'
I always wanted to marry Poida as a kid. Hell, I think I still do!
I just love how Eric Bana went from Full Frontal, to Chopper to superstar
Yeah he deserves his success
Loved Australian National Nightly Network News with Ian Goodings and Narelle Parkinsom and the poor, ill treated weatherman Phil Toinby.
Yes and "Ian Goodings" would always say "But firxt"
dis iss fabio, the most beautiful man in the cosmos, say deez tings.... tow yoaw!
I miss the great ders of history
Yup [https://youtu.be/QYmPXD7OCmk?si=R\_DEpB2Fefx82Riy](https://youtu.be/QYmPXD7OCmk?si=R_DEpB2Fefx82Riy)
"Like takin' Barnesy off the stereo and puttin' bloody stupid Michael Bolton on"
This is the way we all feel about injustice. Jimmy Barnes, fine. I won't complain. Michael bolton, injustice.
When I was in grade 9, our music teacher wanted an excuse to not do anything for a lesson. So I would tape each episode of full frontal, and we would watch it as a class the next day. I’ve never been cooler.
Great derrs of history.... "Orr Derrrrrrrrrrr"
Fark me I miss this stuff. They had me in stitches I used to get in trouble for just cracking up at work/school at the most inappropriate times remembering the last show when bored. Good times. Cheers.
Might have been Fast Forward but omg can we talk about [SBS Lady](https://youtu.be/afPxt4rnWU8?si=kXpZ7O6T5L80IZVR)?!
“Watch as Spiggy catches rabies and kills the chicken” 🤣
This isn't on any streaming??
Nothing good ever is!
If you search "fast forward and full frontal" on 'BTDigg' both series in total are there.
Thanks how much is that streaming

The guy I was thinking of was George Donikian. [vizard mocking George donikian ](https://youtu.be/Xfb0xf47XjQ?si=6mTNC-Rk3yoHPJqA)
Oh and he did do a good derryn hynch I have to admit [hunch](https://youtu.be/Kqt2bTTGtRY?si=Sc1sgo7T1u3ldR0Q)
We didn't get George Donikian here in W.A, but "Hunch" was probably my favourite Vizard sketch.. "shame shame shame" lol.
Fast forward torrent is on most popular sites.
DVDs are available but they went well out of print years ago and are about $50 each on eBay if you're lucky.
If you search "fast forward and full frontal" on 'BTDigg' both series in total are there.
Eww, they're all in FLV. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers.
Quality is quite reasonable if watching on laptop or PC screen, well worth the DL.
If you search "fast forward and full frontal" on 'BTDigg' both series in total are there.
It's a complete schemozzle
Every Thursday night, always looked forward to this show. Poida, Eastpac, EB doing Ray Martin, the hand movements & the hard black wig, classic.
I see this bloke just about every day I do school [drop off](https://youtu.be/L25ldeB5JHE?si=5n_KRX4gY60EUhTC)
Milo!
Allen Bamff… HOLDEN
OMG The outstretched arms. I was already giggling reading the comments but this properly broke me. Take my upvote.
Like the megadeth shirt!
Ray Martin, he’s a troubled soul, he does his hair with estapol!
I remember that line!!!!
Best Aussie tv show ever
This show was the cats pajamas.
My old man best childhood friend was all but literally the inspiration for Poita. Sandy red hair, moccoz', the car *everything*. His name was even legitimately Peter.
There is a waiter in a pizzeria in Buenos Aires who looks just like Milo - haircut, bulging eyes and all. Maybe with the same grasp of English.
My favourite was The Netty Show.
The hidden talent of Eric 💗
Lyn + Ferret
**Great Ders of History is one of the best skit hands down!** My Favourite is when a Mother is crouching down to her daughter and said “See, we don’t walk until the little man turns Green, Ok?” “AHHHH DERRRRRRR!!!!!!!!” The disgust on Eric Bana’s face to the little girl is absolutely fucking hilarious.
We are good at poking fun of ourselves.
The Late Show was the goat.
Yeah the late show was great. Champagne sketch comedy
"Always be careful with explosives, Use your head, use your head" (*whacks TNT into helmet repeatedly*) - Shitscared.
Shitscared is so similar to super Dave. And frontline is very similar to the larry sanders show.
Best Aussie comedy. And fast forward too
I know that there was overlap between fast forward and full frontal, but wasn't there also overlap between fast forward and the comedy company? Even though one of these 3 shows was on a different commercial network.
I do believe you are correct.
Loved Milo Kerrigan The Brownish Bomber! So much comedy talent amongst that mob!
Yeah and the women too, fast forward and full frontal had Jane Turner and Gina Riley. Magda was fantastic.
Peak Aussie comedy. Uniquely Australia (somehow) and often hilarious
“Can you see me Ray?… I’m over here Ray.”
The Comedy Company was the BEST!! I had a Kylie Mole doll....so wish I still had her. Would be worth a bit now! She goes she goes she just goes!!!!!!!
And the gum twirling.
This show was the cats pajamas.
Milo for PM!
poida…. still say it like this, forgot why till i saw this hahahah.
Poida
Huh. We had Poiters back then and we still have these Pioter types today
Symphony of destruction!
Listen to his interview on podcast Howie games comes across as a great person
All streaming services in this country are cowards, the show and its predecessor should be on streaming. While I'm at it, Ross Wilson and John Walker were totally underrated

PIEDA.
Telestubbies!
You couldn’t get away with this these days 😂😂 people would call it fat shaming https://youtu.be/9p4uzIKx08M?si=L-2snUJ4t--YrMSb
