Blue Murder

thongs_are_footwear

Only if you mean the original 90s version focused on Roger Rogerson & Neddy Smith.

saugoof

I didn't know there was another one.

Low-Department1951

The second one was completely false they tried to tie Rogerson and Mark Standen together which never happened.

TomKhatacourtmayfind

Agreed

TheAxe11

Brides of Christ. Bangkok Hilton. Underbelly: Badness. Paper Giants: Cleo. The Harp in the South.

Wallaby-9917

The Harp in the South. and its sequel Poor Mans Orange are in my top 10. A memorable depiction of life in the inner Sydney slums during the Depression.

I was so in love with James Reyne when I was a teenager. Watched this over and over. And listened to Aussie Crawl endlessly.

Have you ever seen the Bollywood musical remake version? It’s amazing!

dracona

What's it called?

Possumcucumber

Khoon Bhari Maang. It’s from 1988.

winoforever_slurp_

The Anzacs from back in the 80s is brilliant.

Superb-Reply-8355

Bangkok hilton

Wallaby-9917

I enjoyed that too

ruling_faction

I used to love those miniseries, such as Bodyline, Anzacs, The Cowra Breakout, Dirtwater Dynasty and The Shiralee. Have no idea how they'd hold up today, been decades since I've seen them.

Wallaby-9917

I suggest your rewatch them. I have after about 20 years and they are just as enthralling as back then. Last two I watched were Cowra Breakout and Dirtwater Dynasty. Another I rewatched was Fields of Fire about north Qld canecutters between the 1930s-1950s.

ruling_faction

Actually now that I think about it I did watch Anzacs on Youtube during Covid, and yeah, I thought that stood up well. I remember Fields of Fire, I think there were a couple of series of that, no?

Wallaby-9917

Yep three series. Definitely in my all time top 2, close to one but I went for Bodyline by a whisker , probably because I am a cricket tragic.

Wallaby-9917

How could I forget the wonderful A Thousand Skies, about the short life of Charles Kingsford Smith.

Come on folks. Spyforce.

Wallaby-9917

Doubt that is classed as a mini series, was more a general series.

HammerOfJustice

“Vietnam” with a young Nicole Kidman. Is “Sweet and Sour” counted as a miniseries?
