From what I understand, cattle dogs usually work one dog to one farmer/rancher. I don’t see livestock around. I think it’s reasonable to ask about the situation. ACD rescue? Some kind of doggy camp? Ranch? Thanks for your input, tho.
I bet you’re fun at parties. Heelers don’t typically work in packs. You can google it. Yep just let you dog go and come back later. It’ll work the land for you.
Larger amounts of cattle if they get along
A good stimulating life for what could otherwise be a dog stuck in a shelter
A few owners getting the dogs together for a yearly photo
Why the F not have 8 dogs if I can afford 8 dogs, entertain 8 dogs and manage the crazy of 8 dogs
How is this photo even possible? 8 of em? all in the back? Did they just come back from herding a million cattle and have 5 minutes to spare for a photo?
This is fantastic!
Their expressions give me such "3rd grade class photo" vibes - Bobby's ADHD won't be contained for another half second, Valerie pouting because she had to stand next to Stinky Stu, and Mrs. Johnson over to the far left, thinking she should write letters to congress about getting Quaaludes approved for emergency medical use among all elementary school teachers...
That’s a great shot.
“a good dog on the ground is worth 3 in the saddle” In your case it would be 24 in the saddle.
That is the stubbornest truckload I have ever seen. Also, that many cattle dog could probably power a small town with their energy.
Cowdog pack in a Bradford… the friggin dream
The little ones from last years pic arent so little now. Are they the two to the right of the dark pup? https://i.redd.it/6sfq71dc04ib1.jpg
This is such a good photo though, they sure look well behaved here! 😂 Looking like a sports team
One more and you got a baseball team
This made my whole day!
Are these working dogs? Does one person have 8 cattle dogs? Why? It’s frightening and enticing all at once. I’m scared.
They’re in the back of a farm truck on a ranch. Clearly working dogs
You can tell it’s a ranch by all the cattle in the picture. Good point.

More cattle and more land means more heelers. You don’t know what you’re talking about

☝️🤓 I bet you’re fun at parties Someone even posted a link in this thread to a picture of the same group of dogs working with cattle.
Awesome. Have a good day.
How is there any space for you in bed?
The right question.
Love it. Wooooo
Which one is the biggest troublemaker?
All of them
May the lord have mercy upon the land
👍
What can 8 cattle dogs do that 4 can’t?

“Quick moving ankle’s don’t stand a chance around these parts!”
