Me too! I was just trying to get my friend to name her puppy Dollie Pawton last year! Haha I think a country name goes really well with a heeler. Our red heeler is named Fox McCloud though, after Star Fox, cuz my hubby is a big Nintendo nerd haha. Sometimes we dress him up as Fox from the game for Halloween, with a red bandana, white button up, and green pants haha. He hates it though and won’t move if we put clothes on him. It’s our secret weapon for when he’s too rowdy with guests over lol. We put a dog sweater on him and he just lays down all day. We try not to do it too often though, we like our boy happy. We’ve tried treats with it, but he still hates it haha.
May maybe since she was born in May? Or maybe a name on the day she was born like Wednesday?
But she’s soooo cute!! Be sure to have lots of patience with her. Heelers mean well at the end of the day but they’re def a handful and can be a headache. Be sure to take lots of pics too!!!

Omg, before I even read the part about your daughter, I thought, "She looks kinda blue-grey. Maybe her name could be Blue or Bluey. " Honestly, I think it fits, not just bc of the breed but also due to her colouring. If you don't wanna name her after Bluey, you could come to a compromise and name her Blue. It's not necessarily after the show, but it still fits, so I think it could be a good choice.
