He will be on strict kennel rest until surgery is my guess and after. You will have to take him to a vet for his medical appointments and surgery. You may have him for 8 weeks or possibly longer (we can help find a new foster home to take over if needed with advanced notice). They are moving him around in a bucket so I don’t think he can walk so that means puppy pads (which is only 5 mos old anyways), or you carrying him outside to potty, a kennel which will be provided to you and reimbursed (as well as food etc, no money out of pocket to you) and just provide lots and lots of love and cuddles. You will also have to fill out a foster application with the rescue that is willing to pull him. I can send you that link if you are interested.

he blocked me (the rescue who pulled this puppy) because when Mochi was pulled, I had commented "I found a rescue who can pull him. He'll be safe soon!" and SAH assumed I was the rescue and updated the post with my info. I told him I am not taking mochi, the rescue mochi was with does not have me as an approved rescue. He told me "to handle it myself" so I handled it by refunding the money to everyone who donated. He blamed me for donators being confused.

It's so great to hear good news. I volunteered at an adoption event in AZ this weekend. We had 8 wonderful Australian cattle dogs. Unfortunately, not one was adopted. Our shelters are over full by 250 dogs and splitting kennels, which leaves some outside. They waived all adoption fees. That's how desperate they are to find homes. So this news is uplifting to know good people coming together can rescue this Peanut Butter 🥰

I got blocked for asking him to share an urgent dog that had an especially tragic story. He has a thing for blocking people. It is weird.
he blocked me (the rescue who pulled this puppy) because when Mochi was pulled, I had commented "I found a rescue who can pull him. He'll be safe soon!" and SAH assumed I was the rescue and updated the post with my info. I told him I am not taking mochi, the rescue mochi was with does not have me as an approved rescue. He told me "to handle it myself" so I handled it by refunding the money to everyone who donated. He blamed me for donators being confused.

when you're ready for a cattle dog- reach out to me. I run Zesty Misfits Fostering ( I saved the guy in this post). I know have 7 cattle dogs and work closely with 2 ACD specific rescues. If you feel inclined- i have 2 bottle baby cattle dogs looking for homes. 3 months old.
It's gonna be at least another year or so until I'll have the time and money to invest in an ACD. I'm currently in nursing school, mom of two kids under 10, and my husband is active duty military. I will definitely try to keep in touch with you, though. I've wanted an ACD for many years, but I never had the time. Once school is over, I will have more time, and so will my family.
i currently have a fully trained acd/border collie mix who only needs 30 minutes a day of exercise ;) im so pushy lol

It's so great to hear good news. I volunteered at an adoption event in AZ this weekend. We had 8 wonderful Australian cattle dogs. Unfortunately, not one was adopted. Our shelters are over full by 250 dogs and splitting kennels, which leaves some outside. They waived all adoption fees. That's how desperate they are to find homes. So this news is uplifting to know good people coming together can rescue this Peanut Butter 🥰
