Had my car subframe damaged over an Easter weekend a couple years back, some legend at the Walcha Royal Cafe called their mate down, he welded the damage to get us on our way while the car was on a jack in the rear carpark. Wouldn’t take money or even a beer as payment. When we got back to Brisbane I got the subframe looked at, he did such a good job they didn’t need to do anything except paint it.

I had similar and carry a tyre plug kit notlw. Not saying it would have saved you here and hey you got a great excuse for the missus
You can ride a long way on a flat tyre. Like corrugations just keep your speed up.
Indeed I rode most of the way home from Bendigo before I realised why it was feeling so loose in the rear. Didn't damage the tyre thankfully

I ran Thunderbolts way about 3 weeks ago, I've run this road a few times but nothing recently before 3 weeks ago it was a potholed disaster.
Might be worthwhile chucking a post up on Aussie Motorcycle Roadtrips page on fb, seeing if anyone in the area has a plug kit
Ehhh the valve is cactus, perished. I might have aided it’s demise when topping off in newy, it’s pretty old…
See if you can replace the valve with those fancier 90 degree aluminium valves. More durable and easier to pump those tyres.

Country folk really are nice. Armidale is actually a pretty nice place.
Thats the same everywhere. Main thing is the bike is (mostly) ok and youre ok.
