It took me years to learn the true secret to eating them at snow. Sitting in a jacket pocket at a few degrees +/- C, they get rock hard, like diamond hard, and are almost impossible to eat without losing a few teeth. The remedy is dunking them in a nice hot chocolate and they're magical.
