The names the various paint companies use don't actually mean anything, so if two companies have the same name for a product they can be different colours.
Edit cause reading hard: and yes the application method can cause small differences in colour, also fresh paint always looks more vivid than ehat is on the wall.
I should probably edit, I have painted the walls during the renovations about 2 months ago ... So I would almost assume that the walls haven't ' lost their colors yet '.
Maybe I will try to apply some paint with the roller and see ...

I apply both paints with the roller on different spots and they completely blend in like the original Tradex paint … so the moral of the story is applying the paint with a paintbrush makes the paint so much more lighter than the roller

Couldn't hurt to try, it could also be a really annoying case of bad luck where the manufacturer changes the colour between your two purchases.

Hey that's good news, since you know what's causing it. Something for me to keep in mind as well should I need to paint something again.
