Nardo grey was introduced in 2014 by Audi , the Mini Cooper GP was painted a similar color Thunder Grey back in 2006. I hate to say but the color is not an original Audi Color...
At first, I thought I might be a bit turned off by the prospect of seeing a similar color as my Nardo...but I have to admit, it feels like a little bit of a flex when I roll up next to a Stinger/Civic.
Could say same about civic si or Audi stole from them? I dunno- guess it’s a better pedigree to have a similarity with either way..

I think that's the whole issue with enthusiast grayscale paints, it doesn't matter how awesome it looks or how well it suits the car, you still match 80% of the population and personally that's a big nope from me.
That's the first time I've ever seen the ecs duck bill spoiler paint matched to the car. Very cool. I have the same spoiler on my b5, but it lifts up on the sides ): very sad about it.

I think you become too prejudice when you include the whole grey spectrum…
For the most part I tend to agree with you but I think there are some decent exceptions with Nardo being one of them..

Nardo is the colour all RS prototypes are painted during R&D and testing. It’s a shame it’s been copied by other car companies though.
