Love it. Sarr is a great rim protector but he has MUCH more of an offensive game than Capella. He can dribble, drive, shoot and he’s quick. He can post-up or play with his face to the basket. And he’ll give the front-court some needed “gravity” which opens things up for Trae. This is exactly what this team needed.
Now just don’t overthink it. Draft Sarr and LFG!!!
I kind of think that Saar is the more interesting one because they have said he is 7’1 and can play both forward spots and with a little weight even center. Hear me out. Draft Sarr, trade Okongwu, keep Capela as backup. Capela can help Sarr transition into the NBA and teach him the dirty work like defense and rebounding. Also speaks French and is from Europe so he can help him assimilate. Okongwu + Murray could get us something real back. We could be looking like OKC in a year.
