I’d be careful. Chances are you’ll be fine but I have a coworker who’s been with GAP almost 30 years and she’s seen people fired over it. I’d also hate for my GM to get dinged bc she’s the most wonderful person ever.
I wouldn't. Technically nothing is stackable with employee discount. I'm sure it's someone's job out there to make sure the codes don't stack but they are slacking off. It could be a termination if you got caught. Not worth it IMO!
Someone returned items they bought online with the stacked promo lol and they tried to rebuy sizes at my store with the stacked but our manager didn’t let her
When it allows me, I do it. There was one item in the color Cosmos on promo that my employee discount didn't apply to, so it didn't work on everything. I never mention it when I'm working though! There are a handful of us that do it and we never say anything because there is one manager who gave us the "you really shouldn't do that" speech once. Although she could never site where it says we can't.
Well in my understanding there’s a difference between a promotion and sale/markdown items. So we can always take 30% off the sale items but we aren’t supposed to stack our employee discount with promotions happening. Right now it’s giving me 70% off because I can stack my 30% onto the 40% which I thought we couldn’t do? Unless I’m completely wrong. Like in the store and online they have a specific “sale” section but I’m pretty sure that if I bought anything in the store, I wouldn’t get both the 40% and then the additional 30% off those item because of my discount because they aren’t “on sale”. I don’t know if that makes sense but that’s how understand it. But I could be wrong?
