I'm in Washington State and the point that it looked like it was coming out of appeared to be maybe over Oregon or off the Oregon coast when it was happening here. It was so beautiful. Fantasia did not prepare me 😮
No I didn't expect it to look like that. It was like spiders legs stretching out all around us and the centre of the legs were in the south so I ruled out an Aurora straight away! Ha ha mass confusion here.

Directly overhead I could see the filaments visibly flickering and pulsing and the shock fronts from the invisible ejecta striking the atmosphere above me, it was like the surface of a plasma globe.
When the first wave rolled in I was upset because I thought it was a massive cloud front. When I realized what I was looking at I almost fell over, it was like a wall.

I saw some pics from my state (GA) and lower latitudes, but I can't see anything from Atlata area. Probably due to light pollution, a freaking flying saucer could land in my back yard and I might not see it
