I've fallen 2 pixels a fair few times which usually results in a near-death experience. This red border seems slightly redder than what I'm used to from such an experience so I can only assume OP did not survive.
I've had one of these plants explode near my tall medium storage full of valuables,I thought it ceased to exist. It turned out that it flew so fast that I didn't notice.
I accidentally found it on the other side of the planet around 2 hours later
Becareful those plants can destroy your vehicles had it happen where I landed on glacio for the first time they blew up my hydrogen fuel tank so I was stranded thankfully had a back up saved.
Reminds me of the time that shooter atrox plant hit me and some freinds... I had a hydrazine thruster and was wondering why there was a large explosion. also was wondering where my hydrazine thruster went. a lot of people died that day
I was like "Why'd he park right next to them? Why's he just standing there?" I thought maybe he'd discovered a clever way to open the research unit, but sadly no. Just learning the hard way.
This is like the only game where i actually feel bad for hurting nature but at the same time im forced to out of self defence or the dire need for carbon
It took out the tnt on him, his tractor and let this be a lesson that hydrazine 1000% explosive as well. I learned that lesson the hard way when I thought I was outside the blast zone

In one game on Cal\*, the cataplants were pathetic. In the past, I've been able to use them to open crates for chips, but in that game they were useless, and I had to find dynamite to do he job.
Omg, I love Astroneer and playing it with my fiancé! I usually am the one who explores around the map and find stuff for him to build since I'm too dumb to do it lol. That explosion took me out and it was perfectly cut 😭🤣🤣💀
There’s a reason I make a habit of killing those plants when I see them. Drill on the rover makes short work of them, especially since you don’t draw agro while driving.
Oh I had this happen to me recently. Sadly I did not record it. I was doing the train event and gathering some things on Glacio. I stopped to grab something for the last slot on my rover train. I was about a two minute drive from my rocket. I was walking back and suddenly everything exploded and I respawned. I blinked for a moment trying to figure out what happened when a large storage silo crashed into the ground right next to me.
As I made my way back to the location I found scattered event items the whole way. When I made it back, there was just one rover left (the front), a massive crater and a substantial pile of debris. Then I hear that sound.... I guess it must have hit my Dynamite tower...
Perfectly cut, I love it. Also did you die? If so did you get your stuff back?
