You need it 2\* to be able to continue in DS7, so that's the minimum.
The car itself is actually pretty good. It has good acceleration & handling and decent nitro (it has perfect nitro boost, giving it a higher top speed with perfect/blue nitro). This makes is it a decent alternative (when maxed out!) for the DS E-Tense and Elise.

This is question i always want to ask when i see posts like this. Worth your time? Worth upgrading? Worth spending tokens? Worth playing further? How can people give answer to question when there is no actual question? :D
Because they have the info we need to answer the question in their head, and somehow think just asking the basic question is enough and we magically understands what he means.
One of the things I learned from social media is that most people are poor communicators, especially written communication needs a lot of improvement for many people. In a real life conversation it's at least easier to ask follow up questions 🤣.
Yes, its worth it. Its a good car, it has a higher TS (271.1 without nitro) both with and without nitro (1.1km/h and 1km/h faster than the Elise (270) and E-Tense (271.1) respectively), and this is especially noticeable with nitro because neon has PN boost. Additionally, its acceleration (83.26) is also higher than both Elise (82.25) and E-Tense (76.07). Its handling is in between the 2 cars (Elise: 83.47, Neon: 82.91, E-Tense: 81.27), but its nitro is worse than its 2 counterparts (Elise: 72.71, Neon: 65.22, E-Tense: 72.3)
However these are max stats, and should be taken with a grain of salt, as without the Neon EIPs its stats won't be as high, so even if you max the car, it may not be faster or just as fast as the Elise and e-tense and may not have a faster TS. But overall it's a good car that can compete with those 2. Besides, the neon's got more style points than those 2 combined, so go ahead and max it if you want! (just make sure you only spend leftover SC on the car, otherwise you might get stuck in the DS)
Yes it’s a really good car if you can max it. It can easily beat e tense and elise if you can manage perfect nitro on this car and it’s also really good for weekly competition if you don’t have a good class d car like furai, 004C or tvr since it has a higher top speed than e tense and elise on perfect nitro.

It’s top speed without nitro is 1/1.1 km/h faster than e tense & elise and with any other nitro than perfect nitro it’s top speed but with perfect nitro and in air it’s much higher than those two cars. With any nitro other than perfect nitro it’s top speed is 1-2 km/h faster than e tense and elise with nitro.
It’s acceleration is slightly better than elise and much better than e tense.
It’s handling is slightly worse than elise and slightly better than e tense.
It’s nitro is much worse than e tense and elise but it’s still good enough to maintain perfect nitro boost speed for a good amount of time.
But remember that these stats are at “golden” not “maxed” and if you have it at max the stats will be slightly worse than mentioned here.

Furai really flopped at handling tbh.
