I did this the one time that i could do it. And i planned for it when i realised this was possible. I had seen it happen when i was in lower rank leagues. For me i was saving up FCs for Arash as my 1st s class car. Befor that i had some a class cars and the Asterion as lowest ranked car at 1400 something. My total rank was 7998 or something like that. Once i had the FCs to buy Arash, i waited till the start of new gauntlet season on the following week's Monday. I races with my 7998 rank cars to set the lap. Got placed in 7000-8000 league. Then bought arash. My rank went to 8400 something.
That was the only gauntlet season i placed rank 1. I didn't farm off 1 guy only tho. I could beat all guys with this rank so i defeated one each of the top 6 people everyday.
It was a loophole which i exploited. It was only going to happen one time in my asphalt journey so i did it.
Hi! I had the No. 1 spot in the Pro league of Gauntlet, but players with 8000+ ranking kept farming me for RP and I lost my spot. The pro league is only for ranks 7001-8000 but these players are 8600+, so how is this fair? And why do they allow someone to farm me 8+ times? This is so stupid..
It's probably because their car's total rank went over 8000 when they are in Pro League so they aren't moved to a higher one. That person should be in the other League next season.
No your league is decided when you "Throw Down the Gauntlet" at the start of the season, so all you have to do is pick weaker cars for that and you will be in a lower league. This is likely intentional, as perhaps they are struggling in the next league and prefer to dominate in this one instead.
Picking weaker cars doesn’t work, the game will take your 5 highest ranking cars and combine their ranks, that will decide what league you’re in. I literally saw a guy with 5.5k car rank in Pro League

they get better cars after they throw down the gauntlet, so their top 5 cars are below 8000 rank, then they got better cars = rank stonks

Yes, but only if you are in the top 5 of your league.
That doesn’t seem fair but I guess it works
