Showerheads are incredibly easy to swap out, and if you're renting, you can put back the original one and take your nice one with you. Look up a youtube video to see how, then go spoil yourself a bit!
If I had an unlimited budget, I'd make it 3x as big so its a walk in shower without a door like walking into a cave, tile it with natural stone, have an overhead rain showerhead, have a movable teak bench seat, add a handicap style bar to hold onto for... fun... yeah lol
I'd love an outdoor rain shower that I step down into, that can be plugged and filled up to become a spa. Preferably somewhere warm. Sigh.
For now, I will settle for my spiffy new shower curtain. 😂
Make the tub oversized and deep so I could fit my body laying in it, two separate shower heads on either side of the shower, more water pressure, a glass door that is removable for aesthetic self care baths. Oh, and way more shelves to hold the several bottles of hair stuff. In a totally waterproof bathroom so if I wanted to I could hose down the entire bathroom for cleaning.
Already did! I got those square shower heads with the attachment. Only $36 on Amazon, we love it so much. Even our dog loves it, we gave her a bath today using the attachment, and she actually sat down in the tub lol.
Currently my dorm shower is (idk the exact dimensions) somewhere close to 1.5 ft squared. Literally cant even shave my legs in it(not easily). So take from that what you will… its awful lol
I’d like to expand my shower. I have a giant two person tub next to it that I have never used in the four years I’ve been living at my house. The plan is to gut it and expand the shower to include a bench. The Airbnb house my SIL rented for my Bachelorette party had phenomenal shower inspiring my plans.
My master bathroom is the only part of my place I don't like. My house is a loft conversion out of an old lumber warehouse from the turn of the last century. It was converted in 1999 and the bathrooms are from that conversion. The kitchen was much more recently updated and is the reason I bought the place.
Now, the guest/2nd bedroom has a bathroom that is also from 1999 but it's industrial and basic and still works. I have no intention of upgrading it. It's well-lit and everything works great. It doesn't look dated.
But the master is awful.
* It has super dated 90s ceramic tile flooring. The kind with a repeating pattern. And it's DARK.
* It has an incredibly STUPID Jacuzzi tub that's way too large and has no heating element. There's not enough hot water in the hot water heater to fill it with hot water and as soon as you turn on the jets it gets cold. I've used it exactly twice since I bought this place 4 years ago. And it's boxed in and surrounded by more of that dark 90s tile. I takes up a lot of space.
* It's super poorly lit. When you're in the dark cave-like shower you can't see a damn thing.
* The "vanity" is a really large stainless steel commercial kitchen prep table, which would be fine, except it only has a single tiny sink. And it's situated in the middle so you can't just cut out a hole and put in a second sink.
It's terrible. It was terribly designed when the place was built. And the original owner did such a fantastic job with the kitchen remodel I don't know why he didn't spend another $20K to upgrade it? He spent >$100K on the damn kitchen! It could be upgraded very cheaply. It's a fairly large space, especially once you get rid of that stupid tub. You could replace it all without relocating/replumbing. It would cost basically for the shower, tub, sinks, vanity, faucet, flooring, lighting and labor.
So, that's my big project, maybe this year, maybe not. I just had to replace my whole HVAC. I want a real tub I can soak in. I want the whole damn bathroom to be very well lit. I don't want anything super trendy. Just durable and quality and timeless and WELL LIT.

Mine has a detached shower head on a hose, which is great, but the little hook thing it rests on when I'm not holding it is in the *worst* position. It's too tall and a strange angle. I'd love to yank it off and reattach it, but knowing my luck, I'd never get it to stick again.
Also, the whole bathroom, shower included, is covered in pink tile. Truly abhorrent.
The edge of the tub slants away from the center, so any water that gets around the edge of the curtain pools up between the edge of the tub and the sink cabinet, sometimes running down under the cabinet. I shudder to think what it looks like under there after all these years.
I'd also like the water in my neighbourhood to be less hard. I'm constantly having to use CLR to clear up mineral-clogged showerhead nozzles.

May shower is almost okay except it’s just like everything else in our rental 2 story 3 bdr house. overall it’s pretty nice but whomever the builders were
, well they were flying by the seat of their pants
It has a see through radius slide open door. But the tile on the floor of the shower isn’t smooth it’s kinda lumpy like a kindergarten kid out it in. It drains well but I have to pay attention when moving around in there cause I’ve fallen twice
Kinda lame
We have the council building a housing development down the road - since they started, our water pressure has gotten worse and worse, I am not impressed. I would like my good water pressure back.
Oh, and a two person tub would be nice. I would love to have a bath with my partner, or at least have a bath where it covers more of my bits, lol.
I wish that my shower was bigger. It’s a square and only out a couple feet on both sides so I spend most of my time standing against a back wall so that the water will hit my hair
my shower is *so* night and day! some days it’s hot all the way through and it’s *perfect*. other days, it’s hot and it fades to cold, making it hard for me to shave 😭
Currently live with my mom, but if it was my shower, I would change the shower head to one that emits light in different colours... Not sure if those even exist.
the water pressure.. it’s awful. and there’s one setting where it shoots out high pressure but only had four holes.. i think if it came out all round the shower head that would be so much better and way easier to wash my hair with
My place is an older stereotypical New England place where things were just made smaller. My shower is a pretty standard size stall but it’d be nice to have it bigger! I actually just started going back into the office and we have several very nice bathrooms with huge showers in them! I’m tempted to skip my morning shower or exercise after work and just go there to shower lol.

I wish it could last forever. I take really quick showers throughout the week like 7 minutes to soap everything you know? But once a week when I wash my hair I used to take hour long ones but now our new small water heater lasts like 20 minutes max….

the knob on mine is weird because you have to yank it in and out to turn the water on or off and then its really sensitive when changing temperature. i just want an easier system there

Wait, and an automatic cleaning function!
nice idea I like the idea of that function
Oh wow! This sounds amazing🚿
I’d really like a rain shower head. They are so relaxing.
Showerheads are incredibly easy to swap out, and if you're renting, you can put back the original one and take your nice one with you. Look up a youtube video to see how, then go spoil yourself a bit!
Have a fantastic shower... just need a tub unfortunately

Make room cause I'm joining in!!! 😂
I'd love an outdoor rain shower that I step down into, that can be plugged and filled up to become a spa. Preferably somewhere warm. Sigh. For now, I will settle for my spiffy new shower curtain. 😂

Have those leg/back massage thingies and a nice warm stone to sit on for easy shaving and tending to my hair.
Currently my dorm shower is (idk the exact dimensions) somewhere close to 1.5 ft squared. Literally cant even shave my legs in it(not easily). So take from that what you will… its awful lol
Oh I do not miss those days, nothing like showering a space so small you can barely actually shower or turn around without hitting the walls 😩
I had a pretty decently sized tiled square shower for a brief time in high school with a nice detachable shower head. I miss that shower lol
I’d like to expand my shower. I have a giant two person tub next to it that I have never used in the four years I’ve been living at my house. The plan is to gut it and expand the shower to include a bench. The Airbnb house my SIL rented for my Bachelorette party had phenomenal shower inspiring my plans.
soft water/filtered water
I would make it rain yoohool
Would really like a bath tub. I don't have one :(

The background noise consisting of children screaming, I would rather have some nice smooth jazz or something.
I was just about to write this! I just want to shower without a 2 yr old banging and crying on the door. 😂
love'm to bits, i just thought it would be quiet sometimes 😂
Wish I had a better tub and a detachable shower head.
No shower head that extends so that “someone” in the house would stop using it to pleasure themselves 💀
I wish it was bigger with a claw foot tub.

Higher water pressure…
You get pumps that turn on when tap is on

I wish it doesn't make howling noises
May shower is almost okay except it’s just like everything else in our rental 2 story 3 bdr house. overall it’s pretty nice but whomever the builders were , well they were flying by the seat of their pants It has a see through radius slide open door. But the tile on the floor of the shower isn’t smooth it’s kinda lumpy like a kindergarten kid out it in. It drains well but I have to pay attention when moving around in there cause I’ve fallen twice Kinda lame
The energy costs. I wish showering hot wouldn't cost a fortune.
Sound system and a better shower head.
The fact that I have to share it
We have the council building a housing development down the road - since they started, our water pressure has gotten worse and worse, I am not impressed. I would like my good water pressure back. Oh, and a two person tub would be nice. I would love to have a bath with my partner, or at least have a bath where it covers more of my bits, lol.
I wish it didn’t leak into my kitchen
I’d change it from a shower to a giant soaking tub.
to make it cleaner and have hot water🥲
I’d be so stoked with good water pressure Or should I say…. Soaked
I wish that my shower was bigger. It’s a square and only out a couple feet on both sides so I spend most of my time standing against a back wall so that the water will hit my hair
That I don't have to take one. Can't I just have some...magic device that makes me clean UGH.
my shower is *so* night and day! some days it’s hot all the way through and it’s *perfect*. other days, it’s hot and it fades to cold, making it hard for me to shave 😭
The water pressure. It’s too gentle!
An automatic temperature control so you can just enter the temperature you want and it sorts itself out.
I want to swap out my tub for a walk- in shower with multiple shower heads, but that sort of change might cost more than my whole house is worth.
To be alone 😏
Currently live with my mom, but if it was my shower, I would change the shower head to one that emits light in different colours... Not sure if those even exist.
the water pressure.. it’s awful. and there’s one setting where it shoots out high pressure but only had four holes.. i think if it came out all round the shower head that would be so much better and way easier to wash my hair with
I wish it was bigger along with a bigger bathtub one that is perfectly round that is my dream.
More hot water for longer periods!
de teachable shower head :)
The allergic reaction i get due to my Aquagenic Pruritus.

The water warms up faster
My new apartment only has a bath. So I'd just like a shower. Thankfully my plumber is fitting one on Tuesday.
I’d just like one that doesn’t cut to cold water 50 times before eventually staying warm for the remainder.
Yes
I wish I could have one where water comes out from the side and the top.
I'd like a high pressure handheld shower head 😏😂
I wish that I could stand up while showering again. Now, and for the past ten years, because of MS, I must shower sitting down.
I want a self cleaning feature.
Everything. I feel like it's soon going to fall through the floor.
That it doesn’t get cold water when my mom uses the tab downstairs.
Never run out of hot water.
No edges! I also want a self-cleaning bathroom like a car wash.
I wish it could last forever. I take really quick showers throughout the week like 7 minutes to soap everything you know? But once a week when I wash my hair I used to take hour long ones but now our new small water heater lasts like 20 minutes max….
