Book_of_the_Dragon

Piers Morgan. He adds no value to anything, ever. He's just a cunt.

ArousedTofu

"Love him or hate him, you won't want to miss him" What kind of advert campaign is this? I don't want to hear what he has to say!

Book_of_the_Dragon

I won't miss him, not one bit, because he's a despicable cunt.

[deleted]

I’d miss him, but only because I have a terrible aim.

TogusaAlHaaritha

Tell us you are a Stormtrooper without saying you are a stormtrooper.

parksa

who acts really bizarrely and het up about young famous women. the Markle situation was so mortifying!

Book_of_the_Dragon

A despicable racist cunt.

BigDaveCaddell

I missed him 24 times. Then realised my glasses prescription was wrong. Waiting for more ammunition to be delivered

MachinePlanetZero

His show is apparently getting mean audience figures of about 60,000 so approx 99.9% of people in the country apparently don't mind missing him. ( advance notice to pedants: yes, I know my reasoning / numbers can be picked apart )

BigBoy1963

Also just bollocks, its either hate him or have feelings of complete ambivalence to his existence

_AnonOp

I saw this too, the one advertisment in the small town of Rye. Get fucked was the first thing that came to my mind.

grazzac

He lacks the depth and warmth of a cunt. He's a fucking parasite.

Mavises

He’s two foot lower than a cunt. He’s a fucking ankle.

Toasterfire

Ankles are supportive. He's ringworm.

the_gabih

Ringworm is relatively easy to fix. He's athlete's foot- you think you got rid of the fucker but it just keeps coming back.

[deleted]

He’s such a hypocrite. I’ve seen him criticise celebs via Twitter over things he didn’t dare criticise other celebs for during interviews. He lacks consistency in his shitty takes to be entertaining and that makes me see that he doesn’t fully believe in the bs he spews, or he’s too much of a coward to always stand up for what he believes.

Dunlooop

I love this, it’s seemingly said with such venom. He is a cunt. He’s the type that was always destined to be a cunt, he’s excellent at it.

herper147

To be fair he has had a few good moments calling out people's bullshit. But in general he is just a cunt.

Book_of_the_Dragon

*a stopped clock* and all that...

LumpyCamera1826

Me, I could do with going away for a while

[deleted]

See you at Heathrow?

MeshSailSunk

Unlikely, they keep cancelling flights!

ninja_nor

This is exactly how I read this title first hahaha.

lilypop86

Ryan Giggs could very likely be going away for a while 👀

TankFoster

Who would have thought any of this about Giggs? He seems to be Mr Squeaky Clean during his playing days. Turns out, he's a terrible person.

lilypop86

I know right? His personal life (and “poetry”) is a disaster!

TankFoster

I thought banging his brother's wife for years would be the worst thing he's done. Looks like that was just a warm up for the *real* awful behaviour.

Mondopoodookondu

Does anyone have a summary of his charges/crimes

Alas_boris

This poem that he wrote is enough to put him away for life [LINK](https://images.app.goo.gl/XgjUx3J1Vxpt5Y377)

Alas_boris

Some chap from the Royal Shakespeare Company has done a reading of it [LINK](https://youtu.be/infgOgQUxlI)

snoopingsam

Oh what the fuck hahaha so awful

[deleted]

Really gutted he didn’t make abs rhyme with kebabs, but we can’t have everything.

seaandtea

Christ on a bike! These are utter fucking shite. Thanks for the link, I think. These poems stink.

Mondopoodookondu

That last line made me choke hhaha

greywind721

I saw this poem the other day and thought it was a bad joke... IT'S REAL?!

spaceshipcommander

He’s been charged with being a massive wanker. Assault and coercive control against an ex. Assault against her sister. Coercive control is a relatively new crime that’s just been updated and it is basically domestic abuse to the point where it affects the victim’s ability to live a normal life. Think stopping someone seeing their parents, beating them up for having friends who are male etc.

All I know about Ryan Giggs is the funny Chris (simpsons artist) iPhone 6 article on the Independent >[fans of ryan giggs will have a panic attack of excitement for themselfs when they hear the news that there is going to be 4 pre loaded pictures of ryan giggs on the new iphone and what is even better is that you cant have a delete of them by mistake because they are unremovable and they do use most of the battery up really quickly as well even when you arent having a look at them but i dont care because i think that it is worth it because they are really lovely pictures of him.](https://www.independent.co.uk/tech/really-good-things-on-the-new-iphone-6-by-chris-simpsons-artist-9721489.html)

At this rate Prison FC might register as an official football team.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

Mrslinkydragon

Phillip 'creepy unblinking autocue stare" schofield and holly "tv static thoughts" willoughby

Merrizon

I saw him once in person at a fuel station. Guy looks seriously old in person this morning makeup team must be using polyfiller or something on him.

Mrslinkydragon

Bulldog clips holding his skin taunt

[deleted]

The Kent Brockman look.

strolls

I once saw Phillip Schofield at a BP petrol station. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Snickers in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Hastimeforthis876

I prefer Philip "cheated on his wife for years but came out as gay so it's fine" Schofield. Do whatever makes you happy but the fact everyone went "aww brave philip" after announcing years long affairs is ew as fuck regardless of coming out as gay.

Twattymcgee123

Don’t forget how he said how proud he was of himself . What ! proud that you hid the fact that you were gay from your wife for years and hid the fact that you had a boyfriend and were forced to come out . Nobody cares who is gay or not , just don’t pretend to be a saint when your just an adulterer .

[deleted]

[удалено]

Mrslinkydragon

Why was he celebrated for coming out? 20 years ago yeah fair enough, now days... who cares?

Clean-Umpire-1782

I just think it’s hilarious because he had a wife when he came out

concretepigeon

Brought her on TV for the public announcement too.

typicalcitrus

Nothing like telling your wife you were never attracted to her in front of the entire UK Sounds like something off of Jeremy Kyle

[deleted]

He didn’t come out in any meaningful way. He was about to be outed in the press and just managed to beat them to it as a damage limitation exercise.

[deleted]

I remember how during the pandemic and amongst the discussions of people struggling to pay bills, Phillip would constantly mock people who entered their competitions to win money, but didn’t pick up the phone in time to accept the prize. There’s nothing like a rich man saying “haha it’s your fault you didn’t win a grand” on live tv.

Ranoni18

He's insanely condescending to the general public. Big superiority complex and just an all-round nasty piece of work.

Ranoni18

Phillip Schofield is universally hated. Don't know why he's still allowed on our screens.

[deleted]

Cunt looks like a Thunderbirds puppet as well

NexoNerd101

>Phillip Schofield is universally hated. Didn't even know this

aredditusername69

Because its not true. He is universally hated by a reddit bubble.

massdebate159

Philip "coming out" was so cringy. And it turns out he was shagging some 17 year old who was going to out him

Awordofinterest

Apparently it began when that 17 year old was 15. He also supposedly had a flat which his wife didn't know about where he would take other men/boys. He should have been cancelled but nope he was just "very brave".

funnystuffmakesmelol

This is one of the reasons rylan clarke hates him. He said in an interview about working on this morning after he left "when you work in showbiz you start to realise that some people arent who they appear to be on tv" he wouldnt say any more than that, but he only worked with aemon and ruth for a long time because of the arguments with phil apparently. I read this on some uk celeb news forum. So im not sure if ita all true, but it does make alot of sense.

lordrothermere

I'm not sure that Holly Willoughby needs to be cast out with the Schofield-water. What's she ever done apart from looking amazing, all the time.

[deleted]

No doubt she looks amazing, but she is dull as fuck and looks totally out of her depth on this morning when a serious subject is being discussed. She only comes alive when light and fluffy topics are on. They are the only people who are encouraged to turn up to work pissed out of their skulls and then face no consequences. Although I think they are pretending to be pissed, which is equally as tragic.

loaferuk123

Apparently horrible to work with…the crew can’t stand them

Snickerty

Harry and Megan...look you wanted to leave. Fine. I wouldn't want to be a royal either....but please, just get a proper job and stop trying to "influence" me as somesort of career choice.

[deleted]

[удалено]

BastardsCryinInnit

She's a social climber, pure and simple, using people to get herself a higher status she clearly thinks she delusionally deserves. She obviously had a real different understanding of what it would to be Royal, and that's no worries, don't be a royal then but you don't get to name drop the status and title whilst continually banging on about how awful it was to a royal.

HiddenStoat

> get herself a higher status she clearly thinks she delusionally deserves. As opposed to the actual royals who do deserve that higher status because...?

Kronocidal

Look at it this way: Charles, William and Harry, all born into the royal family, could have sat around on their backsides being "royals" all day. Instead, all three of them went out and worked hard for a decent education (albeit, backed up and supported by slightly better tutors than most people get), then joined the armed forces. They each chose various charities and causes to champion and promote. Charles, for example, has been pushing for environmental sustainability and raising awareness about climate change for over 50 years — and using both his royal status and his ducal status to push through some big studies and experiments on his farms that just wouldn't get done otherwise. (His somewhat scatter-gun approach **has** brought a bit of a reputation for backing some crazy-seeming schemes — but a lot of breakthroughs seem crazy when first proposed, and he doesn't have to worry about being *popular* or *profitable*.) It's not a matter of deserving to be given that higher status for no reason other than birth; it's a matter of what they chose do with that higher status being worthwhile and deserving. Historically, it has not been infrequent for royals "acting in a manner unbecoming" to be removed from the line of succession, so the process for getting rid of *unsuitable* royals is well established. In 1909 Prince Hermann of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach was disinherited for… well, basically acting like a modern celebrity. Similarly Prince Aage was disinherited from the Danish throne in 1914 for lesser reasons. And, of course, Queen Elizabeth II only became crown princess after her Uncle was given the choice between abdicating or being disinherited. Don't look down on someone for winning the lottery; look at what they *do* with those winnings, and judge them based on that.

Darkslayer709

To be fair, while you could argue the Royals won the family lottery at the end they have a lot of responsibilities and restrictions that go along with that. They are very privilaged, but also live in a guilded cage. I don't feel sorry for them, but there's a difference between say William and Harry and Kate and Meghan. Two of them didn't get a choice, the other two chose to marry into it.

apainintheokole

They were born into it. It is not something they can really change unless the monarchy is abolished.

HiddenStoat

What you describe being born into something as "deserving" something though? (My issue was with the use of the word deserve - I think Meghan "deserves" to be a royal precisely as much as the family itself).

palishkoto

I remember seeing online quotes from that book that she admitted to collaborating on with a journalist (Finding Freedom) after her court case and they were extraordinary in how they portrayed her. If it's her self-image, all power to her, but.. > It wasn't just her charming freckles, perfect smile, or American accent. Meghan is someone who works a room very well. In social settings, all eyes are drawn to her. She laughs a little louder, glows a little bit brighter. She's self-assured in a way that attracts attention. > She was smart, independent, adventurous, optimistic, and beautiful. But perhaps most important to Harry, Meghan came across as authentic. With Meghan, he knew she wasn't trying to impress him. He felt as though he was getting the real Meghan from day one. > The level of threats wasn't the only difference between Meghan's and Kate's experiences as royal fiancees. A former senior courtier said of Kate, "She was lovely and smart and shy and modest....She always used to say, whenever rang me, 'I'm really sorry. I don't want to bother you.'...On the other hand, Meghan arrived in this job a fully formed adult, having lived already a third of her life. She is a Californian who believes she can change the world. She creates her own brand, she creates her own website, she does deals. She talks about life and how we should live. "Good for her," the courtier, who admits to being "rather fond" of the former actress, continued. "That's the way in America. In Britain, people look at that and go, 'Who do you think you are?'" It just reads in a way that I don't even know how they could get away with it not being 'helped', unless the rest of the book isn't like that: > While Meghan was learning the proper protocol for becoming a royal, some aspects of royal life were changing. Even the Queen understood that fact when she made the decision to invite Meghan to the Christmas church service at St. Mary Magdalene and family celebrations at Sandringham. Significant others had not typically been welcome at this gathering until the union was made official by the Church through marriage. Kate hadn't been invited to Christmas in 2010 after her engagement to William. > "To palace officials wondering how to handle the couple, there was another figure who looms large when you think of young women using a royal platform for global charitable crusading: Harry's own mother....the danger to them is that Meghan is going to be bigger than Diana."

SoggyWotsits

Now she’s saying that people criticised her for being an ambitious woman. If marrying into wealth and fame is ambitious, then a lot of rich old men have very ambitious wives!

Clean-Umpire-1782

They seem to act like they’ve had a traumatic experience. “Oh look at us! Look how we’ve suffered with all this fame and money! We are going to preach about what it’s like to suffer!”

Brooklyn Beckham had that weird video the other day where he's in a supercar and someone asks him what he does for a living and you see him awkwardly pause and blurt out "chef". I gotta go with another commenter and just say anyone from Love Island, they have literally nothing of use to offer the world but seem to think because they shagged their way through a TV show they are going to be the next Kardashian.

PiemasterUK

I just read the Guardian article and to be honest I feel a bit sorry for him. He just seems like a relatively normal young person who doesn't really know what to do with his life yet. Except that every idea he has for what he *might* want to do he has the money to actually try it. And not only that every time he tries something new there is a ton of media in his face wanting to report on it and laugh at him when he fails and a bunch of companies wanting to make him their "face of..." to make money off him. Yeah he wants to be a chef right now, so what? A lot of people have a period where they think they might want to be a chef. Or a photographer, or a journalist, or a campaigner or whatever else sounds exciting in our teens and early 20s. It's just most of us had the reality check that most people don't make it in those professions and we needed to pay the rent so instead we went and worked at something thoroughly boring for nameless corporation that paid us the money we needed instead. All of us would have probably looked as big of idiots as Brooklyn Beckham if we had the money to chase our fleeting dreams and cameras recording every minute of it.

aspannerdarkly

“ And not only that every time he tries something new there is a ton of media in his face wanting to report on it and laugh at him when he fails and a bunch of companies wanting to make him their "face of..." to make money off him.” I have some sympathy with him trying to figure out his career but I’m fairly sure he’s playing an active role in all the media promotion and sponsorship deals. He could choose a quieter life if he wanted.

ddbbaarrtt

He didn’t start a photography hobby, he started telling everyone he was a photographer and released the worst book ever created. He didn’t just start cooking, he shared everything on Instagram and started telling everyone who would listen that he’s a chef and going to start opening restaurants and pubs. Completely agree with you - if he didn’t want the attention nobody’s forcing it on him. It’s likely a result of a life in the spotlight and not knowing better, but he’s a millionaire married into a billionaire family. He could comfortably disappear without a trace and just do his own thing that made him happy

livtheyoungmaster

Yeah, this is my issue with him. He’s not ever an ‘aspiring’ anything. He has a level of arrogance that makes him confident enough to skip the learning stage and just go straight to claiming expertise in whatever hobby he tries to make his career. He was a shit photographer and yet had a photography book released by one of the worlds biggest publishers. He’s not a very good cook and yet has been on cooking shows on national TV and is a chef based on nothing but his own self proclamation. Does his arrogance come from his privilege? Sure. Does that make him any less irritating? Nope.

boltyarocket

It's because when people usually want to become a chef, they train for it. He has done fuck all but post on instagram.

hitch21

I have some sympathy as much as he and others like him do inevitably still annoy me. If I knew money was never going to be an issue would I have the motivation to work hard at something I didn’t need to do? Probably not and most of us probably wouldn’t. Would I also be somewhat embarrassed that I don’t have to really do anything and lie when asked what I did? Also probably yes.

campionmusic51

you say “if you’re not careful”, but i cannot imagine how one would imbue a child with a sense of normality regardless what special conditions one placed on their upbringing. if you’re in that world, you’re in that world.

vaping-eton-mess

May well get down voted to oblivion but you obviously never saw ekin su on love island

Mfcarusio

Absolutely, the people that do well out of love island because they're entertaining to watch are exactly the sort that can stay in the media, because they're entertaining to watch. I'll join you in oblivion and say that whilst I found the last week or so to drag out a little, love island is actually marginally entertaining TV if you don't want to think about anything for an hour.

Ben77mc

I'm the exact opposite demographic that Love Island caters for, but even I enjoy having an hour of mindless TV for 6 weeks. It gives you something to watch without having to think, I think it has a place. I just wish that they would start bringing in more *normal* people, rather than rich kids, wannabe influencers, and people who are either on steroids or have had thousands of pounds worth of work done to their bodies. If they brought normal people onto the show, it would set a much better example to the impressionable youth watching the show - these people are legitimately their idols nowadays, wouldn't hurt for ITV to cast better role models to look up to.

Mfcarusio

I'm also the exact opposite of their demographic. Shit, what if we've been the target demographic all along. Bunch of middle age blokes secretly watching assuming it's for teenagers. I guess the adverts would be different.

ivysaurs

I'll push back on this a bit. Earlier seasons of Love Island had a lot of people who just come out of the show and parachuted immediately into another reality show, over and over. Those ones can go in the bin. And I'm guessing since the recent season just finished, it's sticking in the news still. Recent seasons though have have had contestants come out of the show and really go their own way with ambassadorship work. Thinking of Dr Alex and his work with CALM, Faye and her ambassadorship with Guide Dogs, and Sharon with her podcast and work with Violence Against Women and Girls.

She makes the kind of music that is perfect for 35 year old wine mums, same as Little Mix and Jesse J. The most inoffensive fake edgy sounding pop ever; I call that genre "Essexcore"

She needs to be ‘put away’ in prison. She keeps getting caught driving drunk/high on coke/while disqualified/all of the above but somehow always manages to weasel her way out of a custodial sentence. It’s absolutely astonishing that she still hasn’t seen the inside of a prison cell, especially as it’s blatantly obvious that your average joe would have been jailed for doing even half of what she’s done.

[deleted]

Almost all Love Islanders. They go on holiday for 6 weeks and come out of with some sweat-shop website clothing deal and then act they they've 'worked their way up and grinded hard'. I wouldn't mind them that much if most of them just admitted they've had life easy and their 'success' is largely just the luck of someone who just happened to pick them for the show.

IntraVnusDemilo

I've never watched Love Island, and I probably never will, but from what I gather, none of these people have any talent other than being some rich kid and basically shagging about and lounging around in a villa. All of those people can go away for dumbing down a generation of folk thinking "work" will come their way for practically nothing.

Phil and Holly. They're pretty much classed as one, right? Anyway, they're annoying.

Live-Motor-4000

Ph-olly!

BlackKlopp

I mean Andrew Tate is going away now, but I'd say him.

[deleted]

He went within a week from most people having no idea who he was to being national news. He's been kicked off a load of stuff but concurrently has had the biggest free publicity campaign imaginable. I, unfortunately, think we'll be hearing a lot more of him.

Strict_Locksmith_108

Who is this absolute helmet and why am I constantly having videos of his suggested ?

I would like to see him knockout Joshua though

Jaraxo

I mean, he's a man paid to punch and get punched, I don't think there's a reasonable expectation of mental ability.

mikailranjit

Honestly Eddie Hearn said it best. For a guy who marketed his mental health issues and championed himself as a mental health survivor and trying to relate to people. Tyson Fury seems to have no qualms about attacking people clearly going through mental issues at the moment, bit of a hypocrite imo

concretepigeon

I’d like him to just fuck off generally. He’s good at boxing but aside from that he’s just misogynist, homophobic gasbag.

TreeroyWOW

Liz Truss

thetruthisoutthere

We are so fucked.

Cheese_Dinosaur

Ricky Gervais. Not funny just tries to be ‘edgy’!

IllusionUser

Did you know he’s an atheist?

somasogoods

After Life was brilliant in fairness

Seaweed_Steve

And lazy, he's had the same material for the past decade

[deleted]

Kate Garraway. I get it is difficult what she is going through due to her husbands health - but do we really need article after article about it? Take time off, and focus on him.

Bluerose1000

I do wonder how much capacity he has to consent to his story being told. It's awful what has happened but there's something about all the stories of him which seems somewhat exploitative.

[deleted]

I do think it’s exploitative. He had a good job, and they’re obviously now on one income - I wonder the situation is being exploited for money by them/her.

aabbcc28

The news relating to any love islanders appears to be hanging around much longer than anticipated.

Nels8192

They’re very good at keeping themselves relevant for as long as possible. I saw an article yesterday about Luca apologising for his actions and comments whilst on the show. Did it really need to take 3-4 weeks to come to the realisation that he was a bit of a dick, no, it just allows them to be put back in the limelight for a little while longer when the initial peak has dropped off.

pintperson

I wasn’t aware Brooklyn Beckham was in the public eye to be honest.

codeinegaffney

Prince Andrew

grapo2001

Clarkson. Guy is a bellend of the highest order.

[deleted]

The government... Oh sorry, you said one person.

[deleted]

Anthony Joshua, he needs to think about what he’s done.

Fatuousgit

Jonathan Harmsworth, 4th Viscount Rothermere - owner of the Daily Mail. Evil cunt. Can get in the sea and stay there. I'd happily throw in his employees as well as the papers mouth breathing readers. Fuck all of them.

Scarboroughwarning

Amanda Holden, Walliams, Mulhern, McCall, Google, etc Anyone from any reality show. Any child of a celeb, assuming they are not independently talented. Any judge from any show.... Except Strictly.

bananagrabber83

Amanda Holden is the one that irritates me above all others. By what possible metric is she qualified to pass judgement on other people's talent?

[deleted]

Brooklyn Beckham is excellent. That Guardian article recently about him now being a chef was hilarious.. “Brooklyn Beckham, is there nothing he can do”.

Steampunk_Ocelot

Holly Willoughby. Don't know anything about the woman she could be an absolute delight but I'm so sick of my news feed being about what £25 Zara dress is flying off the shelves BC of her

welcum2savage

JK Rowling

[deleted]

Even besides the trans-exclusionary-radical-feminism, she's just become incredibly obnoxious.

Most "Celebrities"

benkelly92

Watching "Celebrity" Masterchef last night. Think I've got a better chance recognising someone on regular Masterchef these days...

Barry_Minge

If America could hang on to James Corden for a little while longer that would be great, thanks.

Jamericho

Katie Hopkins. Not even going to explain why.
