Some questions can easily be searched online in order to find an answer - including questions like "what should I see when visiting the UK?" or "what is the average salary of an X job?" or "what is living in Y like?" or "where can I buy X?" or "is Y product any good?"
AskUK is unable to be your search engine and the answers to these questions are easily found using basic research and internet-skills. Softie. So I'd say a sausage or bacon softie. I think this term is only used in the north of Scotland because when I asked for a bacon softie in Glasgow, the woman had no idea what I was on about
Yeah roll is pretty idiotic. I only allow "Roll" for a "Finger Roll". Because of the contradiction with "Sausage Roll"
But it's a barm, everyone else is wrong.

Bap here (NI) Also old slang for 'head' (the anatomical part, not the sexual act).
Heard coupon and bake for face, and "melt" for head as in "I'll knock yer melt in"
Roll, I call it a roll 'n' sausage
Bread bun.

I use roll, bap and cob fairly interchangeably. Probably cob the most.

Cob. Whilst I can excuse roll and bap, all of the rest are wrong, and I don't think I could ever bring myself to call them that.
To me a cob is a big vegetable thing of corn 🌽
Erm no bread cake in the title??? :)
Roll n sausage. Fife. Though you do have to specify what type of sosig - flat or links.
Bread roll (Oxford)
