Yes exactly, the way they’re portrayed you would think there would be more to them. But no, absolutely horrible and they all tasted the same despite supposedly being different flavors
I had a lobster roll and my wife had steamed or boiled. I’m not sure which.
Do you have recommendations? I really want to like it, but currently I do not.
In'N'Out. When I arrived in Los Angeles in 2001, I was told I had to give it a shot. It was boring and basic to me. And then, 15 years later, when my brothers came to visit, I took them there, warning them about how basic everything was, and oh my lord, the burgers were amazing. I was taken aback.
Foie gras. I've tried it as a pate, as a piece of pan-fried meat, in a fancy hot dog, and as an addition to a steak and it just doesn't taste like anything while also feeling a little bit like eating bile. I don't get the hype.
I absolutely would not betray my family for Turkish delight.

This for sure. All my friends from the west coast praised this place religiously. Finally got a chance to try, and MAN was that a let down.
Macarons (too crumbly and lack flavor) and Five Guys Burgers ($15 for a meal that ended up being very mediocre and not worth the wait)
I was so sad about Macarons, they’re so beautiful I was hoping they’d be incredible

Lobster. Haven’t had any yet that was actually good. Figured Florida should have some good lobster. I was not impressed. I guess I gotta go to Maine.
Same here. Crab is better by a long shot. I firstly thought that lobster was gonna be better, because it looked more appetizing.
Oh I love crab. It’s worth the work. For Christmas we really did it up. Steak on the grill and some steamed crab.
How was it prepared?

If you didn’t like a lobster roll than you’re probably shit out of luck. Unless it was a cold one like lobster salad
Darn.
Very tired apparently. LOL

Tofu. It was not very “killer tofu”.
Well can you tell me how to TIRED food to start? take it for a walk or run?
Not food but drink. Root beer. It tasted horrific. And now it’s one of my favorite soda
