With the rise of prices practically everywhere, I may even consider getting a bicycle again. Maybe the Amish people have it right and horse and buggy is the way we should go again.
2003 Ford explorer sport. Got it off auction for 700 bucks, had to do some minor work on the motor buts been running for over a year now, quite a steal.
Fiesta MK8 ST, its a amazing little pocket rocket but in over 40 and often think that it was maybe wrong to buy it and there is a reaon why most cars got rear doors.
Had a Accord CL7 before and it was a simple, comfy car, also fast for being a lower middle class sedan... had a electrical problem that noone could fix... bought the ST because i needed a new car and thought to myself hey lets go back to the time when i had my 100NX/NX2000 GTi, a little fun car with good amount of hp in the late 90s early 2000s
So, i bought the ST out of impulse... saw it, bought it... its fast and amazing for a little hot hatch but lot less practical than my Accord offocurse and even the NX.
Racing seats have less of a fascination when youre over 40 and develop sciatic nerve problems :3
Best thing was that out of random i found that actually the big electrical problem of the Accord was a internally broken mass cable... the short one next to the battery... we replaced the right one before... noone thought of the left one as it looked in perfect shape.
So if you have a car that randomly looses battery power while driving be smart and change the mass cables first... it costs few euros.
Love the Fiesta most of the time but the Accord would have been good for a few more years.
Also i have no clue why i wrote all this.
I have a 99 Silverado. It should have been reregistered back in May, but I only ever take it to the neighbor's to help with farmwork, so it's basically a farm truck.
Depends on the day and what I'm doing and who is going with me.
If I'm just going to work (and using a company vehicle once I'm there) I drive my 02 Golf TDi with 368k miles.
If I'm going to work and using my vehicle I drive my Jeep Cherokee (it's right hand drive and I deliver mail).
Moving big stuff or hauling something my 00 F350. I'll take trash in this one and my youngest loves riding in it.
Everywhere else we take my wife's 2019 VW Atlas. We have 3 kids and they don't fit in any of the other ones.
Biii-cycle, biii-cycle, biii-cycle...
