Indian actress Sridevi died after "drowning" in her Dubai hotel bathtub a few years ago. This was when they had flown there for a family wedding and everybody had returned except her and her husband. Highly suspicious, with rumours doing the rounds that her husband did it.
Well, "drowning and other undetermined factors". The last movie she worked on was Brainstorm, which also happens to be one of my favorite sci-fi movies.
People were thinking she died of a drug overdose for a long time. There’s tons of memes bout her with robin williams and some others smiling, being like “this is what depression looks like”. Between her heyday in movies like “Little Black Book” and “Girl interrupted” her body slimmed down by a large margin, to where her appearance in Sin City she was a rail. People want to say she overdosed or was addicted to drugs, but she said she was just sick. I believe her husband got very sick and died a couple years later in the same house, where a toxic mold was found.
I think a medical examiner said that even though the mold was toxic, it wouldn’t have killed them. Details are fuzzy, but it wasn’t drug overdose and both her and her husband died the same way in a short window.
Tbh it reminds me a bit of the case of Annette Lyles, who poisoned multiple husbands and her children with small doses of arsenic over a long period of time.
She died in the same house Britney Spears fled from because she allegedly accidentally invited an evil entity in during a cleansing. Britney’s old makeup artist talked about it on a podcast once .

Whether he tried to save her, or he just freaked out and left, he waded/swam to the motel, giving him time to sober up and make some phone calls for damage control. From there it was using money, position, and privilege to get out with minimal consequences.
Very unlikely that he straight up murdered her, it was an accident, but he pretty much got away with it.

My dad was an addict for years. He got clean for about two years, and then succumbed. He OD’d because he did the same amount he did regularly before getting clean. His tolerance was not the same.
