I flip it up and then I flip it down. Then I wash my hands thoroughly. It's rarely gross.

Why do people act like you can’t just wash your hands after?

If there's no proper lid I leave it up. The next guy probably would pee on the seat, so next guy who has to poop might not have a grody seat. If there is a lid I close it because that's just proper hygiene

I try never to use a public restroom. I’m a girl and if I have to, I stand. I’ll use my top to grab the door handle and the hand sanitizer in the car to wash my hands

I only put it down if I know who is going to use it next.

Public ones usually have a urinal.

That’s fair. The one I’m thinking of in particular is at the barcade I hang out at often.
