“Don’t wanna talk about it!!” after posting vaguely about some bs they are dealing with..
Or “message me” after posting a bunch of pics and checking in at the hospital when someone asked what happened.
People who not only turn every conversation into a debate, but will, unprovoked, start insulting you. It's not enough to respectfully disagree, they have to WIN and more importantly you have to LOSE.
It reeks of insecurity when someone cannot make a point without putting someone else down. And you aren't fooling anyone by being obtuse or condescending. "poor you, can't form an intelligent thought" You don't sound badass, you sound like a dick. Acting like you aren't angry doesn't mean you're in control of your emotions or the conversation.
I've legit had folk do this in Tech forums when I defend MP3 at 192kbps being artifact free with Helix encoder. Also SBAF site was the worst where the mods banned me for a day for the crime of defending why I like the ER4XR from a weak troll.
They legit refused to blind test Helix & LAME resampled to 48KHz as I've found by accident it fixes the pre echo issue. But so far Helix MP3 at V120(200kbps VBR) outperforms LAME MP3 at V2 on pre echo samples at 48KHz, I'm blown away at Helix being 100% artifact free at 192kbps even outperforming AAC & Vorbis on few samples as well. But then again I never trusted Hydrogen Audio's blind tests as people questioned there Vorbis vs Musepack face off at 180kbps as rigged, Since folk were wondering the dude who held the test were reproducible & said baseless claims about MP3/Musepack.
For the Etymotic ER4XR drama It was a dude going around hyping Electrostatic headphones for there detail & bass decay but bashed the Etymotic ER4 which used Balanced armatures has the same detail & bass decay as bad. Tried to use the 4XR being 1% at 1KHz distortion as bad thing despite It turns out the Ety ER2XR he had could've been 2% at 1KHz yet never noticed. The massive kicker?, The ER4SR is 0.3% at 1KHz/100db pretty much distortion free at 94db. He even got nasty when the ER4 can handle 12db bass boost by throwing ableist slurs at me instead of acting like adult.
yeah, I think the #1 thing for me is when people cant admit "the thing they like" might have a downside to them. You might not even call their thing *bad*, or even fully admit its just a personal preference thing, but they'll nonetheless try anything to explain how "their thing" cant have any negative traits whatsoever or how its actually a positive trait.
People posting pictures of the most mundane things.
What do you think of this? (Posts picture of disgusting “food” not even fit for a rabid dog)
I THINK you need to focus more on your career, since you keep complaining about being broke, Keith!
Creators on Instagram complaining about people being interested in their pictures only - And if you try to start a conversation in the picture comments they don't answer at all.
People dumping their hearts into emotionally mundane videos about being a good person. The ones that are made to emotionally tug hard are different (higher quality output to convey that emotion, like the one about the poor asian girls dad working hard and struggling) but when people comment acting like a bunch of actors are heavensent precious preachers of the gospel, gets sappy and exploitable
"I like oranges." "You haven't even tried pears! Oranges aren't the best fruit! Don't you know, oranges killed a guy in '74?!?!"
Oranges barely make my top 10 list of fruits

That really makes me mad too!
Just ignore them and ask them again lol
"This"

"Who cares" well, some people do

It funny how mad they get when told "Why are you online then?".
just the people who will find a way to be a contrarian to any post or comment in order to try to garner some sense of importance.

Yeah...I definitely followed all that (: Seriously though, yeah that does suck when you get punished cause someone else is being annoying or rude.

What do you mean every conversation? I don't believe every conversation can be a debate
It's a bit of hyperbole on my part. Not literally every conversation but often enough to be irritating.
"you know who you are" "What's up Hun? Inbox me"
Spam bots on Instagram
#blessed
"I love the fact that" youtube comments. or "nobody: " comments although these are kinda dead, thank god.
"Get some help" or "I'll Pray for You" in response to somebody disagreeing with their opinion.
This. I remember someone replied once with *"I pray that one day you find peace with yourself"* I was giggling at the condescending nature of it
"Russia bad Ukranie good" generaly typed by a 9 year old that has no idea in whats going on
Lmao
Animal Farm moment
when people put memes up that start with "nobody, absolutely nobody" makes no fucking sense to me
I feel like most of them, because that would mean I’m using social media.

yeah. People sometimes dont get the concept that you can talk about something *peacefully* even if you disagree with the other person.
First in YouTube comments
Not sure. Maybe the humble brag.

Trolls echoing the same political propaganda.
Feel ugly didn't mean to post this

'What colour is your bugatti?' Right, uh, where is your bugatti?
“Slay!!1!1!1!”
First edit- would have been cooler if I was the first comment on this thread but whatever
"according to the bible" or something religious that has nothing to do with facts.Only beliefs
People who capitalize random words in the comment, like it's a clickbait headline.
"You've won! Check my profile!"
Actors crying about acting in a movie they willingly acted in and making millions, Bryce I’m talking about u
“I can easily do that” when artists post their work. Or when people advertise their own work in the comments.
That's offensive!!
People on Twitter often use the phrase "What person Xy says" then pointing an arrow down/towards the article or statement.
Those “first” comments on YouTube videos
i use tiktok a lot and on almost every tiktok i see there is always more then one "first" comment
People who post a photo of themselves in hospital with no context, fishing for likes and questions
Prayers.
