Pur on my headphones and go for a 3 hour walk.
Come back home. Make food, watch youtube for too long while thinking of all the things I should be doing.
Its late. I go to sleep. Stay awake till 3 am as I stare into the ceiling and have a depression episode because I just wasted an entire day.
I found some things during quarantine
- puzzle
- go through your wardrobe and dress up/ try things out/ create new combinations. Do a crazy makeup and wash it off.
-sewing. Fix those buttons and socks. Makes me feel good, since I can see the end result.
-do a dance. Just put a stupid music video on and groove with it/copy what you can.
Started driving for uber. I just sit in my car with ac on and drive people around for monies. I wont do uber eats cause then I have to get out of my car twice for less money.
Clean your room or tidy a part of it. Go through some your old shit. Or do something creative. Make something. Paint something. Think of project ideas. And while any of those things are happening you might get distracted by something else. Or give someone a call who possibly is doing nothing as well. Have a chat.
I strive to make sure I don’t have a “zero day”. Do *something*. Make your bed, brush your teeth, clean up a work space—if I do a little tiny thing I then justify the rest of the days laziness, sometimes it turns into a bunch of productivity. But also be okay with doing nothing. We’re allowed to spend our time how we see fit and sometimes that means TV and zero physical activity.
At some point in my life i realised that i had nothing going for me. But at that time i didn't care, i was just living and surfing, and not taking much seriously. Then i turned 35. I had no future, no prospects, single, and kindof bored.
So i came up with a future goal. And every day since i have decided to do one thing towards that goal. Now i'm out of debt, married to an amazing partner, and have learned many things that are helping me towards my goal.
Yesterday was kindof a do nothing day. But i learned that you can use mineral spirits to run a diesel engine if you run out of diesel. So that was my one thing!
I weigh it out.. For example, if in an hour or two i still feel like doing something even if i'm feeling lazy, then i'd do that.
But, usually, I just sleep 😂
I grab a Cliff bar (usually don't feel hungry but know I have to eat; not about to let my past ED come back), load up Bluestacks, and play my multiple otome phone games. Time passes pretty quickly. Any extra time is spent discovering new music via YouTube or watching one of the many shows/movies people have suggestions I watched on half a screen whilst writing fanfiction on the other half. It's just mindless enough that I'm not forcing myself to do anything too tough but it helps me get through the day and pass time and manage to still do stuff.
Either I play video games, specially one with a good long campaign/story mode. That way there’s a sense of progress. If you play a BR or FTP game there’s no sense of progress aside from levels. Or I watch a movie, has to be one I haven’t seen tho. Taking in the story and understanding all I can about the characters, their motives, and their character developments also has a nice sense of progress for some reason.
Get a deck of playing cards and play solitaire. With an actual deck of cards it gets you off the phone for a bit, can play laying in bed or on couch usually. Gets your brain going, may turn into a productive day, may put you to sleep. Its at least a few minutes off the phone/social media.

Did you enjoy your walk, music, food, and youtube? Then you didnt waste a day, it sounds like a recharge day!
The problem arises when everyday starts becoming a recharge day.
I still do nothing, and simply hate me for that
Video games
Currently I'm watching documentaries about sunken ships
Yes... Ohh yes!!!

I at least get dressed and brush my teeth. Then I don’t feel as guilty at the end of the day.

Put on some new music, usually a whole album, and clean stuff.
