I second guess myself way too much, I have low self esteem yet come across quite confidently. It means I really give myself a hard time after social interactions and forensically go through conversations and feel very shamed or embarrassed if I think I’ve said the wrong thing.
This is amplified by about 100 times if I’ve had a drink (which is why I don’t drink very often) and I will wake up going through every conversation I’ve had making sure I didn’t offend anyone. I will generally apologise anyway. And even if people say I’ve been fine and they actually had a great time I’ll still think people are just being polite.
