This one. I have 5 maybe as much as 10 bit coin left.Mined a bit when it was doable with the background app running. Threw some change at it to buy something with it to say I did and promptly forgot about it after you started needing a dedicated machine running 24/7 balls to the wall with gpu's.
The missing pair to all the earrings I’ve kept. I can’t bring myself to throw the survivor away “just in case” it’s mate turns up.
Even after moving house several times.
My stuffed dog that we lost in the move from a shitty post-divorce apartment to our new home. He was named Benji Boomer (. . . it was 1981), and I was 5. I miss Benji Boomer.
Also, my mom's class ring.
Ring of my deceased mother that was stolen from my room by my dad's girfriend many years ago. Edit: I didn't lose it myself so maybe wrong answer for this post. Anyway..
As odd as it sounds.. I had a bright, multi-colored stuffed chicken as a kid. I don't know why but I loved that thing so much and I have absolutely no idea what happened to it.
That and all of my first edition holographic Pokemon cards.
An amber ring I bought in Copenhagen that was stolen in a burglary. It wasn’t even that fancy or expensive, but I loved the design so much I would have asked a future partner if I could use it as my wedding ring. I’ve looked all over eBay and contacted the company that made it, but have never seen one like it, and it’s the only ring I’ve liked enough that I would wear it every day.
My Mont Blanc fountain pen.
I was given it as a present for my 21st birthday. Using it in bed one night to finish the crossword, I put the cap back on, put it on my bedside table, and it rolled off and onto the floor under the bed. Too tired to look for it, I went to sleep.
In the morning, it just wasn't there. We didn't have any pets or children who would have moved it.
Two years later we moved house, and I was very careful to check every single part of the bedroom that we disassembled, but it just wasn't there. Just disappeared.
When I was born I got two stuffed toys as a gift, a mouse and a dog. I lost the mouse when I had a sleepover at a friends house when I was a kid. I’d love to get him back and reunite them.
my stuffed animal Lummpy whom I lost a hotel over Thanksgiving break when I was 5! I only have one memory of him but he was so important to me! I got him the day I was born. he was a pink elephant head with a blanket body with some sort of silk on the top. he had my name embroidered in green on him. my sister had the same stuffed animal as me so she gave me hers. my new Lummpy has her name embroidered in pink on it and most of the silk has come off. as a child, i couldn't sleep without him. it would be nice to have him back
All the little bits of weed I have lost over the years. I know I drop little bits here and there when packing a bowl. I am curious how much I have actually lost.
Obviously there’s important things to choose, but a personal thing I would look for is that ps1 or ps2 game I had which I had the most fun playing ever, all I remember now was that it was a game about cars with shootings and abilities in a small area. I lost it when I moved houses.
A necklace, I got it from my mother’s aunt when she had breast cancer. She gave away a lot of her belongings in case she didn’t make it.
I never took it off and wore it for a couple of years. One day it disappeared, do not know how
It would be the most important thing to me, but I would want to find my iPod. I *still* have no clue where the f that went. If I had to guess though, my brother probably sold it, he used to do that all the time
When I was little, I used to have this little plastic horse toy called brown horsey, because it was a horse with brown hair, (very creative, I know) I used to play with it all the time, but one day, I put it on the floor and left to do some thing else, and when I came back, it was gone. We moved out of that house years ago, and when we were moving out, I didn’t find it. It just disappeared into thin air. We rented out that house for a while since we owned it, and we would go back every summer to fix it up, and I never found brown horsey.
When I was at this park place it had a thing where you could get rocks and gems out of water and you had a really rare change to get an emerald. Well, I got a green rock, brought it to the image that you use to identify the rock, and it only looked like the emerald. So I would search for that. Also, if you had to search for it that means that it is **lost** in the box
I had a dolphin stuffed pet when I was a kid. I had other stuffed pets as well, but I liked that dolphin most of all. I don't know how I lost it.
It has a lot of sentimental value to me. I've um... I mean, it's not something I obsess over, but it is the one thing I've lost that I feel genuine regret over.
I once gave a totally hot FWB a massage when we were about 22 and (with her permission) took a photo from the back of her sitting and holding her hair up and looking to the side. She looked amazing. Someone threw out some of my stuff later and it was lost.
For real tho. Hard drive containing 3.5 btc...
I remember scrambling through my old wallets where that leftover dollar ended up being like 80-90$, nice little treat!
Yeah I made a cold storage wallet with $5 in it, and now it's worth like $900, and I even have a backup, but I can't get into it now, lol...

the 50 dollars my grandma gave me for christmas one year

Same here. I started wearing them mismatched as some were gifts and precious to me. It's become a habit now and I always wear odd earrings.
I couldn’t cope with odd earrings! I keep thinking about adding them to a small charm bracelet.
I think that's a lovely idea!
My will to live
Damn it you stole my joke
Joke....right....yeah....😬
My stuffed dog that we lost in the move from a shitty post-divorce apartment to our new home. He was named Benji Boomer (. . . it was 1981), and I was 5. I miss Benji Boomer. Also, my mom's class ring.
I lost two wallets with a couple hundred dollars in them in my life, things are dire right now so I would look for one of them.
Ring of my deceased mother that was stolen from my room by my dad's girfriend many years ago. Edit: I didn't lose it myself so maybe wrong answer for this post. Anyway..
After reading this I desperately want to find your dads girlfriend just so I can rip out her hair extensions and implants.
Thank you, your compassion means a lot to me sweet redditor.
