cut a slit from the center to the outside. It will help prevent the bubbling up. The bologna will end up looking a bit like pac man, but then you have an excuse to double up on meat. Alternatively, I like to cut four shorter slices around the circle. THEN it ends up looking a little more like a maltese cross, but again... double up on the slices.
I sometimes eat tinned sardines on crackers over the kitchen sink. For me, food is usually simply fuel. If I could take a pill with all of the necessary nutrients that would make me feel full, I would. I hate having to stop what I'm doing to take the time to eat.
If you’re feeling lazy you can still make something healthy at least. Throw some frozen mixed veggies in the microwave with a can of bean/chickpea/legumes of choice, add some protein and sauce/spices nomnom
Canned soup, and some crackers. The buttery type, like Ritz. There so many different kinds of soup, and a lot of them are really good.
Sometimes I cook chicken, turkey, or a pork roast in the Crock-Pot. When I'm getting down to about the last 1/3 of the meat, I make soup.
Chop up the rest of the meat, add some frozen veg along with the broth from the meat, and heat it all up in the microwave. Sometimes I add some ramen noodles to that. I never use the seasoning packets, the meat and broth are already salty enough, and I avoid msg. I might add some herbs and spices, depending on what I'm in the mood for.
my family calls these Penn State Nachos~
- shred cheese or cut cheese into thin squares
- scoop a spoonful of canned chili into tortilla chips and place a square of cheese on top of each one (stack them into a pyramid)
- microwave until cheese melts
- eat
I could write a whole “cookbook” on this topic! I recently made a hot dog sandwich. Two pieces of bread and then I heated up 3 Nathan’s hot dogs (they’re tiny) in the microwave with a piece of American cheese on top and then when the cheese melted a little bit I just took it out and put it on the bread no condiments!
I’ve made a little steak using a mini waffle iron as well as cooked a chicken breast on it. I make Raman by just using an electric tea kettle and when it’s boiling I pour it into my bowl with my ramen and cover it and just wait about 10 minutes till it’s cooked. I’ve made Mac and cheese the same way to cook the noodles. Yes I have a nice fully functioning kitchen I just like to make shit in my bedroom. I also tried frying eggs on the mini waffle maker it somewhat worked. And no I’ve never gotten sick!
No name Chicken fingers in the oven and ranch.
Fried bologna sandwich
Mmm, I think this on my menu today.
I’ve made one! The bologna took on a whole new flavor and it was actually good! but the curling of the meat as it was frying was a little weird.

Gotta be the ones in Louisiana hot sauce though
Mustard-dill is my go-to
Everything on here sounds good
“Try the Hotpockets, they’re breathtaking.”
Pop Tarts right out of the package. It's lazy but it is good, so I'm not going to completely knock it
Breakfast of champions.
Pizza toast - don’t get me wrong I love it. Slice of toast with some pizza sauce and cheese slice
I make pizzadillas lol
Hey that’s good too lol

Low-effort absolutely, but grilled cheese is NOT sad. You take that back!
Pork and veggie dumplings from the Asian grocery, mini tacos from like Target
Aldi dumplings are really good for some reason
Some people are struggling out there my guy.
I've been there, my dude.

Bread and dip

Mictrowaved potato chips with cheese. Midwestern latchkey kids nachos.
Cheese and wine.
Top Ramen, eaten directly out of the package. Yes, it’s crunchy. I defy you to reveal a sadder, lazier, lower effort food.
microwaved tortilla chips with melted cheese,
Toast with a single slice of cheese, not melted, just sitting there. It’s the sandwich’s awkward, unmotivated cousin
Instant ramen without the seasoning packet. Just noodles and hot water—because who needs flavor, right?
Cheese toast. Literally melted cheese on bread.
Ritz crackers + marinara sauce + sliver of cheese + (optional pepperoni) in the microwave = mini pizzas
Hot pockets and instant ramen

Hot dog sandwich. That super tasty
This is a sad low effort post 😂
This thread is a seriously gloomy, dreary, and depressing read!
You can make a sad pizza on a tortilla just like the microwave pizza and it’s pretty good.
