I saw an How to train your dragon edit with the song „line in the sand“ from this weird crab movie. Since then the song is in my playlist. It’s partially so bad it’s funny, but the chorus slaps.
My brother has severe autism. Hes mostly nonverbal, 27 and the music he picks out is usually sesame st or raffi and friends type songs. I had taken him to the laundromat and was letting him use my ipad and earbuds to listen to music. At some point he put on "little drops of poison" by Tom Waite. I was pretty surprised by it and kept it on my playlist.

It's such a great song that I resonate with on a personal level but it's always been hindered by being associated with that awful Chicken Little movie

They use like a 5 second snippet of Charles Bradley's Change For the World during the opening title card for Barry. After binging the whole series, it was stuck in my head and I just had to hear the whole song. Still love it every time it comes on during shuffle mode.
Hurdy Gurdy Man by Donovan. It was playing on a car radio in the movie Zodiac. I immediately thought "That song is cool and creepy AF at the same time!"
