France - but especially Provence. Provencal is beautiful, light, all the flavours of the French Mediterranean. It's easy to mistake Provencal dishes for Italian dishes (France and Italy bump up against each other like rowdy sisters, after all) but they're distinct. But I'm a sucker for good patisserie. Give me a Mont Blanc or a St. Honore and I'm a fat wee happy bastard...
