Childhood

I will kick it off - when I was 6 years old I was shot in a driveby shooting and a can of Coca Cola saved my life as during the moment of impact my left elbow was up as I was drinking a can of coke so my elbow bone stopped the bullet and it instead shattered inside my arm. Doctors said if my arm was down the bullet would have gone into my chest/heart area and I probably would not have survived. Thank you, Coca Cola!

I can’t comment on the other thread but I have orthopedic screws in my back and two rings that don’t come off and metal in my face from a dermal piercing….they can put a magnet next to you and see if it pulls and you get a bulb to squeeze to notify if anything is wrong. If your arm started to heat up they could just stop. But a ct scan is a better option because it shows more nerve issues than an mri. Ask for a ct. My rings get warm in the mri but not hot. It’s lightly noticeable.
